الصّيغَةُthe formulaالمَعْرُوفَةُknown
The known formula.
مَهْمَاwhateverيَكُنْit isالأَمْرُthe matter,,فَقَدْit hasتَبَيَّنَbecome clearمِمَّاfrom whatسَبَقَprecededأَنْthatالعُنْوانُthe titleالأوَّلُthe first,,وَهُوَand it isالدَّاءُthe diseaseوَالدَّوَاءُand the cureـ-أَحَقُّmore deservingبِالتَّرْجِيحِof preference
Whatever the matter may be, it has become clear from what has preceded that the first title - which is the disease and the cure - is more deserving of preference.
يَقُولُHe saysالشَّيْخُthe SheikhبَكْرٌBakrأَبُوAbuزَيْدٍZayd::«وَهُمَا"And they areاسْمَانِtwo namesوُضِعَتَاgivenلِمُسَمَّىto one meaningواحِدٍoneوَهُوَand it isجَوَابٌthe answerلِسُؤَالٍto the questionوُرِدَwhich was askedعَلَيْهِupon himوَالْمُنَاسَبَةُand the appropriatenessلِكُلِّfor eachواحِدٍoneمِنَofالاسْمَيْنِthe two names,,ظَاهِرَةٌapparentلَكِنَّهَاbut theyبِهَذَاwith thisالِاسْمِnameالدَّاءِthe diseaseوَالدَّوَاءِ»and the cure"أَظْهَرَhe showed,,فَإِنَّهُfor heاسْتَهَلَّinitiatedجَوَابَthe answerالسُّؤَالِthe questionبِقَوْلِهِby saying::مَاwhatأَنْزَلَwas revealedاللَّهُAllahمِنْofدَاءٍdiseaseإِلَّاexceptأَنْزَلَHe revealedاللَّهُAllahلَهُfor itشِفَاءً»a cure"وَأَحَادِيثَand hadithsنَحْوَهَاsimilar to it.
Sheikh Bakr Abu Zayd says: "And they are two names given to one meaning, and it is the answer to a question that was posed upon him, and the appropriateness for each of the two names is apparent, but they are with this name, the disease and the cure" he showed, for he initiated the answer to the question by saying: "What Allah has revealed of a disease, Allah has revealed a cure for it," and similar hadiths.
وَقَالَAnd he saidأيضًاalsoفِيinأَثْنَاءَthe course ofالْكِتَابِthe book::فَلْنَرْجِعْLet us returnإِلَىtoمَاwhatكُنَّاwe wereفِيهِin itمِنْofذِكْرِmention ofدَوَاءِthe cureالدَّاءِ»of the disease"
He also said in the course of the book: "Let us return to what we were in the mention of the cure for the disease."
وَازْدَدْAnd addعَلَىtoمَا ذَكَرَهُwhat he mentionedالشَّيْخُthe Sheikhالنُّصُوصَthe textsالآتِيَةِthat comeمِنَfromالْكِتَابِthe book::وَهَلْAnd is thereمَعَwithذَلِكَthatكُلُّallمِنْofدَوَاءِcureلِهَذَاfor thisالدَّاءِdiseaseالْعُضَالِchronic.
And add to what the Sheikh mentioned the following texts from the book: "And is there with all that a cure for this chronic disease?"
وَلَعَلَّAnd perhapsهَذَاthisهُوَisالْمَقْصُودُthe intendedبِالسُّؤَالِwith the questionالَّذِيthatوَقَعَoccurredعَلَيْهِupon itالِاسْتِفْتَاءُthe inquiry،,وَالْدَّاءُand the diseaseالَّذِيthatطُلِبَwas asked forلَهُfor itالْدَوَاءَ»the cure"
And perhaps this is the intended point of the question that the inquiry occurred upon it, and the disease that was asked for it the cure."
وَالكَلَامُAnd the discussionفِيinدَوَاءِthe cureهَذَاthisالدَّاءِ»disease"
And the discussion in the cure for this disease."
وَدَوَاءُAnd the cureهَذَاthisالدَّاءِdiseaseالْقِتَالُ»the fighting."
And the cure for this disease is the fighting."
وَدَوَاءُAnd the cureهَذَاthisالدَّاءِdiseaseالدَّوِيِّthe loud"
And the cure for this disease is the loud."
هَذِهِTheseالنُّصُوصُtexts،,وَمَاand whatسَبَقَprecededمِنْofأَنَّthatالْحَافِظَthe hafizابْنُIbnرَجَبٍRajabوَغَيْرَهُand othersمِمَّنْwhoتَرْجَمُواtranslated
These texts, and what preceded from that the hafiz Ibn Rajab and others who translated.

وَهُوَAnd it isشَبِيهٌsimilarبِعُنْوَانٍto the title«الْجَوَابُ"The answerالْكَافِيthe sufficientلِمَنْfor whoeverسَأَلَasked......
And it is similar to the title "The sufficient answer for whoever asked...".
