So if weakness of knowledge is combined with the absence of bringing it to mind and its absence from the heart in many of its times or most of them, due to his preoccupation with that which contradicts it; and that is joined to the demands of nature, the overpowering of desire, and the domination of lust, the deceit of the self, the deception of Satan, impatience for the promise, prolonging of hope, sleep of heedlessness, love of the immediate, leniencies of interpretation, and habitual practices - then there does not hold on to faith except the one who holds the heavens and the earth from failing.

And for this reason, people vary in faith until it reaches the least weight of an atom in the heart.

And the total of these reasons returns to the weakness of insight and patience.

Allah, Be He Glorified, is worth the patience and certainty, and He made them.

And for this reason, He praised the religion, saying, 'And We made from them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and they were certain in Our signs.'

In the history of Baghdad, it is a weak narration from the rejected narrations of Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Marzoog Al-Bahili. Ibn Ady said: I have not seen for Ibn Marzoog this more objectionable than these two narrations, either this one, or another in fasting - and it is weak, and his father Muhammad bin Marzoog is trustworthy. And look to the refinement of perfection (16/380).
