يَقُولُHe saysإِذَاIfظَهَرَتْappearedالْمَعَاصِيُthe sinsفِيinأُمَّتِيmy nationعَمَّهُمْAllah encompasses themبِعَذَابٍwith punishmentمِنْfromعِندِهِHim

He says: "If sins appear in my nation, Allah will encompass them with punishment from Him."

فَقُلْتُSo I saidيَاOرَسُولَMessengerاللَّهِof AllahأَمَاAre there notفِيهِمْamong themيَوْمَئِذٍon that dayأُنَاسٌsome peopleصَالِحُونَrighteous?

So I said: O Messenger of Allah, are there not righteous people among them on that day?

قَالَHe saidبَلَىYes.

He said: "Yes."

قَالَتْShe saidفَكَيْفَThen howيُصْنَعُwill it be madeبِأَتَلْكَwith those?

She said: "Then how will it be with those?"

قَالَHe saidيُصِيبُهُمْthey will be afflictedمَاwith whatأَصَابَafflictedالنَّاسُthe peopleثُمَّThenيَصِيرُونَthey will returnإلىtoمَغْفِرَةٍforgivenessمِنَfromاللَّهِAllahوَرِضْوَانٍand pleasure.

He said: "They will be afflicted with what afflicted the people, then they will return to forgiveness from Allah and pleasure."

وَفِيAnd inمَرَاسِلِthe messagesالْحَسَنْof Al-Hasanعَنْfromالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetلَاdo notتَزَالَceaseهَذِهِthisالْأُمَّةُnationتَحْتَunderيَدِthe handاللَّهِof Allahوَفِيand inكَنَفِهِHis protectionمَاas long asلَمْnotيُمَالِيthey flatterقُرَّاؤُهَاits recitersأُمَرَاءَهَاits rulers,وَمَاand as long asلَمْnotيَزَكُّthey purifyصُلَحَاؤُهَاits righteousفُجَّارَهَاand its sinfulوَمَاand as long asلَمْnotيُهِنَّthey dishonorخِيَارَهَاits best onesشِرَارُهَاand its worst ones.

And in the messages of Al-Hasan from the Prophet: "This nation will not cease to be under the hand of Allah and in His protection, as long as its reciters do not flatter its rulers, as long as its righteous do not purify the sinful, and as long as its best do not dishonor the worst."

فَإِذَاSo whenهُمْtheyفَعَلُواdo thatذَٰلِكَthatرَفَعَAllah will liftاللَّهُAllahيَدَهُHis handعَنْهُمْfrom them,ثُمَّthenسَلَّطَHe will dominateعَلَيْهِمْupon themجُبَابِرَتُهُمْtheir tyrantsفَسَامُوهُمْand they will oppress themسُوءَwith evilالْعَذَابِpunishment,ثُمَّthenضَرَبَهُمْwill strike themاللَّهُAllahبِالْفَاقَةِwith povertyوَالفَقْرِand destitution."

So when they do that, Allah will lift His hand from them, then He will dominate upon them their tyrants, and they will oppress them with evil punishment. Then Allah will strike them with poverty and destitution."

وَفِيAnd inالْمُسْنَدِthe Musnadمِنْfromحَدِيثِthe narrationثَوْبَانَof Thubanقَالَhe saidقَالَthe Messengerرَسُولُof Allahاللَّهِpeace be upon himإِنَّIndeedالرَّجُلَthe manلَيُحْرَمَis deprivedالرِّزْقَof sustenanceبِالذَّنبِby the sinيُصِيبُهُthat afflicts him."

And in the Musnad from the narration of Thuban, he said: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, the man is deprived of sustenance by the sin that afflicts him."

وَفِيهِAnd in itأَيْضًاalsoعَنْهُfrom himقَالَhe saidقَالَthe Messengerرَسُولُof Allahاللَّهِpeace be upon himيُوشِكُit is about toأَنْthatتَتَدَاعَىthe judgmentsالْقَضَائُcome forth,وَعَلَيْهَاand on itفَالإِسْنَادُthe chain of narrationصَحِيحٌis authentic,وَاللَّهُand Allahأَعْلَمُis the All-Knowing.

And in it also, from him, he said: the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "It is about to be that the judgments will come forth, and the chain of narration is authentic, and Allah knows best."

اِنظُرْLookإِلَىat the starsالنِّيرَاتِthe radiantوَتَحْقِيقِand the researchالمُسْنَدِof the Musnad

Look at the radiant stars and the research of the Musnad.

أَخْرَجَهُHe narrated itابْنُby IbnالْمُبَارَكِAl-Mubarakفِيinالزُّهْدِthe asceticismوَابْنُand Ibnأَبِيof Abuالدُّنْيَاthe worldفِيinالْعُقُوبَاتِthe punishmentsوَأَبُوand AbuعَمْرٍوAmrالدَّانِيAl-Daniفِيinالسُّنَنِthe Sunnahsالْوَارِدَةِmentionedفِيinالْفِتَنِthe trialsوَغَوَائِلِهَاand their disastersوَسَنَدُهُand its chain of narrationضَعِيفٌis weakإِلَىtoالْحَسَنِAl-Hasan.

He narrated it by Ibn Al-Mubarak in asceticism and by Ibn Abu Al-Dunya in punishments and by Abu Amr Al-Dani in the mentioned Sunnahs in trials and their disasters, and its chain of narration is weak to Al-Hasan.

الْمُسْنَدُthe Musnadوَأَخْرَجَهُand it was narrated byابْنُby Ibnأَبِيof Abuالدُّنْيَاthe worldفِيinالْعُقُوبَاتِthe punishmentsوَطَبَرَانِيand Al-Tabaraniوَأَبُوand AbuنَعِيمٍNaimفِيinالْحَلِيَةِthe adornmentمِنْofطَرِيقِthe pathالْمُبَارَكِof Al-MubarakبِنْbinفُضَالَةَFudalaعَنْaboutمَرْزُوقٍMarzoukالشَّامِيِّthe Syrianعَنْaboutأَبِيthe father ofأَسْمَاءَAsmaالرَّحْبِيِّAl-RahbiعَنْfromثَوْبَانَThubanفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned itوَسَنَدُهُand its chain of narrationلَاis noبَأْسٌproblemبِهِin itلِحَالِdue to the conditionالْمُبَارَكِof Al-Mubarakوَمَرْزُوقٍand Marzoukوَالْمُبَارَكُand Al-Mubarakصَرَّحَhe declaredبِالتَّحْدِيثِwith the narration.

And it was narrated by Ibn Abu Al-Dunya in punishments, and Al-Tabarani and Abu Naim in the adornment through the path of Al-Mubarak bin Fudala from Marzouk the Syrian from Abu Asma Al-Rahbi from Thuban, he mentioned it, and its chain of narration is no problem due to the condition of Al-Mubarak and Marzouk, and Al-Mubarak declared with the narration.

وَرَوَاهُAnd it was narratedصَالِحٌby SalehبِنbinرُسْتُمَRustamأَبُوAbuعَبْدِالسَّلَامِAbd Al-SalamعَنْfromثَوْبَانَThubanفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned itأَخْرَجَهُit was narrated byأَبُوAbuدَاوُدَDawoodوَالرُّوَيْانِيand Al-Ruwiyaniفِيinمُسْنَدِهِhis Musnadوَطَبَرَانِيand Al-Tabaraniفِيinمُسْنَدِthe Musnadالشَّامِيِّينَof the Syriansوَغَيْرِهِمْand othersوَصَالِحٌand SalehبِنbinرُسْتُمَRustamمَجْهُولٌis unknown,وَأَيْضًاand alsoلَمdid notيَسْمَعْhearمِنْfromثَوْبَانَThubanفَقَدso he ruled

And it was narrated by Saleh bin Rustam Abu Abd Al-Salam from Thuban, it was narrated by Abu Dawood and Al-Ruwiyani in his Musnad and Al-Tabarani in the Musnad of the Syrians and others, and Saleh bin Rustam is unknown, and also he did not hear from Thuban, so he ruled.
