عَلَيْكُمUpon youالأُمَمُthe nationsمِنْfromكُلِّeveryأُفُقٍhorizonكَمَاasتَدَاعَىthey callالأَكَلَةُthe eatersعَلَىtoقَضَتْهَاits piece
Upon you are the nations from every horizon, as they call to one another for a piece of food.
قُلْنَاWe said::يَاOرَسُولَMessengerاللَّهِof AllahأَمِنْAre thereقِلَّةٍfewnessبِنَاamong usيَوْمَئِذٍthat day?
We said: O Messenger of Allah, are there fewness among us that day?
قَالَHe said::«أَنْتُمْ"You areيَوْمَئِذٍthat dayكَثِيرٌmany،,وَلَكِنَّكُمْbut you areغُثَاءٌscumكَغُثَاءِlike the scumالسَّيْلِof the flood.
He said: "You are many that day, but you are like the scum of a flood."
تُنْزَعُThe awe is removedالْمَهَابَةُthe aweمِنْfromقُلُوبِthe heartsعَدُوِّكُمْof your enemy،,وَيُجْعَلُand it is placedفِيinقُلُوبِكُمْyour heartsالْوَهْنُthe weakness.
The awe is removed from the hearts of your enemy, and weakness is placed in your hearts.
قَالُواThey said(۱)(1)::وَمَاAnd whatالْوَهْنُ؟is the weakness?
They said: "And what is the weakness?"
قَالَHe said::حُبٌّThe loveالْحَيَاةِof life،,وَكَرَاهَةُand the dislikeالمَوْتِof death."
He said: "The love of life and the dislike of death."
وَفِيAnd inالْمُسْنَدِthe Musnad(٢)(2).
And in the Musnad (2).
مِنْFromحَدِيثِthe narration ofأَنَسٍAnasقَالَhe said::قَالَthe Messengerاللَّهof Allahﷺ(peace be upon him)لَمَّاWhenعُرِجَI was taken upبِيwith meمَرَرْتُI passedبِقَوْمٍby a peopleلَهُمْwho hadأَظْفَارٌnailsمِنْofنُحَاسٍcopperيَخْمِشُونَscratchingوُجُوهَهُمْtheir facesوَصُدُورَهُمْand their chests.
From the narration of Anas, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When I was taken up, I passed by a people who had copper nails scratching their faces and their chests.
فَقُلْتُSo I said::مِنْwhoهَأُولَاءِare theseيَاOجِبْرِيلَ؟Gabriel?
So I said: "Who are these, O Gabriel?"
قَالَHe said::هَأُولَاءِThese areالَّذِينَthose whoيَأْكُلُونَeatلُحُومَthe fleshالنَّاسِof peopleوَيَقَعُونَand they slanderفِيinأَعْرَاضِهِمtheir honor.
He said: "These are those who eat the flesh of people and slander their honor."
وَفِيAnd inجَامِعِthe collection ofالتِّرْمِذِيِّal-Tirmidhi(۳)(3)مِنْfromحَدِيثِthe narration ofأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHuraira[١/٢١][1/21]قَالَhe said::قَالَthe Messengerالْبُخَارِيُّal-Bukhariعَلَىonرِوَايَتِهِhis narrationعَنْfromمَكْحُولٍMakhulبِالْانْقِطَاعِdisconnected.
And in the collection of al-Tirmidhi (3) from the narration of Abu Huraira [1/21] he said: "The Messenger of al-Bukhari from his narration of Makhul, which is disconnected.
انْظُرْLook::التَّارِيخِthe historyالكَبِيرِthe great(٢٧٩/٤)(279/4)
Look: the great history (279/4).
وَتَهْذِيبِAnd the refinement ofالكَمَالِthe perfection(٤٧/١٣)(47/13)
And the refinement of the perfection (47/13).
وَرَوَاهُAnd narrated itعَمْرُوby Amrابنthe son ofعُبَيْدٍUbaidالْعَبْشَمِيِّthe AbshamiعَنْfromحُذَيْفَةَHudhayfahمَوْقُوفًاit is halted.
And narrated it by Amr ibn Ubaid al-Abshami from Hudhayfah, it is halted.
أَخْرَجَهُIt was narrated byالطَّيَالِسِيِّal-Tayalisiفِيinمُسْنَدِهِhis Musnad(١٠٨٥)(1085)
It was narrated by al-Tayalisi in his Musnad (1085).
وَغَيْرِهِمْand othersقُلْنَاI said::عَمْرُوAmrابنthe son ofعُبَيْدٍUbaidهَذَاthisشَامِيٌّis a Syrianفِيهِin himجَهَالَةٌunknowns،,وَذَكَرَهُand mentioned himابْنُIbnحِبَّانَHibbaanفِيinالثِّقَاتِthe trusteds(١٧٩/٥)(179/5)
And others: I said: Amr ibn Ubaid is a Syrian with unknowns in him, and Ibn Hibbaan mentioned him in the trusteds (179/5).

(1) So: "They said: O Messenger of Allah."

(3) With number (2404). And it was narrated by Ibn al-Mubarak in asceticism (50).
وَابْنُand IbnأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاal-Dunyaفِيinالْعُقُوبَاتِthe punishments(۷)(7)،,وَهَنَادٌand Hanadفِيinالزُّهْدِasceticism(۸٦۰)(860)
And Ibn Abu al-Dunya in the punishments (7), and Hanad in asceticism (860).
وَالْبَغَوِيُّAnd al-Baghawiفِيinشَرْحِthe explanationالسُّنَّةِof the Sunnah٣٩٤/١٤394/14(٤١٩٩)(4199)
And al-Baghawi in the explanation of the Sunnah (394/14) (4199).
وَغَيْرَهُمْAnd others،,مِنْfromطَرِيقِthe pathيَحْيَىYahyaابْنِthe son ofعُبَيْدِUbaidاللَّهِAllahعَنْfromأَبِيهِhis fatherعَنْfromأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHurairaفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned it.
And others, from the path of Yahya ibn Ubaid Allah from his father from Abu Huraira, he mentioned it.
قَالَHe said::الْبَغَوِيُّAl-Baghawi::هَذَاThisالْحَدِيثُhadithلَاnotيُعْرَفُis knownإِلَّاexceptمِنْfromهَذَاthisالْوَجْهِwayوَيَحْيَىand Yahyaابْنُthe son ofعُبَيْدٍUbaidاللَّهِAllahتَكَلَّمَspokeفِيهِin himشُعْبَةُShu'bah.
Al-Baghawi said: "This hadith is not known except from this way, and Yahya ibn Ubaid Allah is spoken of in him by Shu'bah."
قُلْتُI said::قَالَHe said::الْحَاكِمُAl-Hakim::رَوَىHe narratedعَنْfromأَبِيهِhis fatherعَنْfromأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHurairaبِنَصٍّwith a textأَكْثَرُهَاmost of itمُنَاكِيرٌis criticized.....».."
I said: Al-Hakim said: "He narrated from his father from Abu Huraira with a text, most of it is criticized...".
وَقَالَAnd he saidابْنُIbnحَجَرٍHajarفِيinالتَّقْرِيبِthe approximation:: مَتْرُوكٌIt is abandoned,وَأَفْحَشَand he exaggeratedالْحَاكِمُAl-Hakimفَرَمَاهُand he threw him downبِالْوَضْعِas a fabricator.
And Ibn Hajar said in the approximation: "It is abandoned, and Al-Hakim exaggerated and threw him down as a fabricator."
انْظُرْLook::تَهْذِيبِthe refinementالْكَمَالِof perfection(٤٥٠/٣١(450/31 - 453)).
Look: the refinement of perfection (450/31 - 453).
قُلْتُI said::وَقَدْAnd indeedجَاءَcameنَحْوَlike thisالْحَدِيثِhadithمِنْfromقَوْلِthe sayingنَوْفٍof Nufالْبَكَّالِيِّthe Bakali--وَكَانَand he wasيَقْرَأُreadingالْكُتُبَthe books::قَالَHe said::إِنِّيIndeed Iلَأَجِدُfindصِفَةًa descriptionنَاسٍof peopleمِنْfromهَذِهِthisالأُمَّةِnationفِيinكِتَابِthe bookاللَّهِof Allahالْمُنَزَّلِthe revealed: ,قَوْمٌa peopleيُجْتَالُونَwho are taken awayالدُّنْيَاthe world.
I said: "And indeed a similar hadith came from the saying of Nuf al-Bakali - and he was reading the books: He said: Indeed I find a description of a people from this nation in the revealed book of Allah: a people who are taken away from the world."
