اَلصَّدَأُRust(۱)(1)حَتَّىuntilيَصِيرَit becomesرَنَاRana(٢)،(2),ثُمَّThenيَغْلِبُit overcomesحَتَّىuntilيَصِيرَit becomesطَبْعًاnatureوَقَفَلًاlockوَخَتْمًا،and seal,فَيَصِيرَit becomesالْقَلْبَthe heartفِيinغَشَاوَةٍveilوَغِلَافٍand covering.
Rust (1) until it becomes Rana (2), then it overcomes until it becomes a nature, a lock, and a seal, then the heart becomes enshrouded and covered.
فَإِنَّIfحَصَلَit happensلَهُto himذَٰلِكَthatبَعْدَafterالْهُدَىguidanceوَ الْبَصِيرَةِand insightاِنْتَكَسَhe faltersفَصَارَand becomes(۳)(3)أَعْلَاهُits topأَسْفَلَهُ،its bottom,فَحِينَئِذٍthenيَتَوَلَّاهُhe is taken overعَدُوُّهُ،by his enemy,وَيُسَوِّقُهُand drives himحَيْثُwhereأَرَادَhe wants.
If that happens to him after guidance and insight, he falters and becomes (3) its top its bottom, then he is taken over by his enemy, and drives him where he wants.
فَصْلٌChapter(٥)(5)
Chapter (5)
وَمِنْهَاAmong them:أَنْthatالذُّنُوبُsinsتَدْخُلُbring inالْعَبْدَthe servantتَحْتَunderلَعْنَةِthe curseرَسُولِof the Messengerاللَّهِ ﷺ.Allah ﷺ.فَإِنَّهُIndeed, itلَعَنَcursedعَلَىforمَعَاصٍ،disobedience,وَغَيْرِهَاand greater than it,أَكْبَرُgreaterمِنْهَا،than it,فَهِيَit isأَوْلَىmore deservingبِدُخُولِto enterفَاعِلِهَاits doerتَحْتَunderاللَّعْنَةِthe curse.
Among them: that sins bring in the servant under the curse of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Indeed, He cursed for disobedience, and greater than it, it is more deserving to enter its doer under the curse.
فَلَعَنَSo He cursedالْوَاشِمَةَthe tattooerوَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ،and the tattooed,وَالْوَاصِلَةَand the one who connects,وَالْمَوْصُولَةَ (٦)،and the one who is connected (6),وَالنَّامِصَةَand the pluckerوَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةَ،and the one who plucks,وَالْوَاشِرَةَand the eaterوَالْمُسْتَوْشِرَةَ .and the one who is eaten.
So He cursed the tattooer and the tattooed, and the one who connects, and the one who is connected (6), and the plucker and the one who plucks, and the eater and the one who is eaten.
وَلَعَنَAnd He cursedآكِلَthe eaterالرِّبَاof usuryوَمُوكِلَهُand his clientوَكَاتِبَهُand its writerوَشَاهِدَيْهِ.and its two witnesses.
And He cursed the eater of usury, his client, its writer, and its two witnesses.
وَلَعَنَAnd He cursedالْمُحَلِّلَthe one who makes permissibleوَالْمُحَلَّلَand the one who is made permissible for him.لَهُto him.
And He cursed the one who makes permissible and the one who is made permissible for him.
وَلَعَنَAnd He cursedالسَّارِقَ .the thief.
And He cursed the thief.
وَلَعَنَAnd He cursedشَارِبَthe drinkerالْخَمْرَ،of wine,وَسَاقِيَهَاand the server thereofوَعَاصِرَهَاand the one who presses itوَمُعَتَصِرَهَا،and the extractor thereof,وَبَائِعَهَا،and the seller thereof,وَمُشْتَرِيهَاand the buyer thereofوَآكِلَand the eaterثَمَنِهَاof its priceوَحَامِلَهَا،and the carrier thereof,وَالْمَحْمُولَةَand the one carriedإِلَيْهِ .to him.
And He cursed the drinker of wine, and the server thereof, and the one who presses it, and the extractor thereof, and the seller thereof, and the buyer thereof, and the eater of its price, and the carrier thereof, and the one carried to him.
