وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoغَيَّرَchangedمَنَارَlandmarksالْأَرْضَ،of the earth,وَهِيَand it isأَعْلَامَهَاits signsوَحُدُودَهَا.and its borders.
And cursed is he who changes the landmarks of the earth, which are its signs and borders.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoلَعَنَcursesوَالِدَيْهِhis parents.
And cursed is he who curses his parents.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoاتَّخَذَtookشَيْئًاsomethingفِيهِin itالرُّوحَ(۱)the soulغَرَضًاas a targetيَرْمِيَهُto throw itبِالسَّهَامِ.with arrows.
And cursed is he who takes something that has a soul(1) as a target to throw arrows at.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedالمُخَنَّثِينَthe effeminateمِنofالرِّجَالِthe menوَالْمُتَرَجِّلَاتِand the masculine womenمِنofالنِّسَاءِ.the women.
And cursed are the effeminate among men and the masculine among women.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoذَبَحَslaughtersلِغَيْرِfor other thanاللَّهِ.God.
And cursed is he who slaughters for other than Allah.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoأَحْدَثَintroducesحَدَثًاa new thingأوorآوَىsheltersمُحْدِثًا.an innovator.
And cursed is he who introduces a new thing or shelters an innovator.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedالمُصَوِّرِينَ.the designers.
And cursed are the designers.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoعَمِلَcommitsعَمَلَthe actقَوْمِof the peopleلُوطٍ.of Lot.
And cursed is he who commits the act of the people of Lot.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoسَبَّinsultsأَبَاهُhis father(۲)(2)وَمَنand whoسَبَّinsultsأُمَّهُ.his mother.
And cursed is he who insults his father (2) and he who insults his mother.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoكَمَهُkeeps silent(۳)(3)أَعْمَىblindعَنْtoالطَّرِيقِ.the way.
And cursed is he who is blind to the way (3).
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoأَتَىapproachesبَهِيمَةً.a beast.
And cursed is he who approaches a beast.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoوَسَمَbrandsدَابَّةًan animalفِيon itsوَجْهِهَا.face.
And cursed is he who brands an animal on its face.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedمَنwhoضَارَّcauses harmبِمُسْلِمٍto a Muslimأوorمَكَرَtricksبِهِ.him.
And cursed is he who causes harm to a Muslim or tricks him.
وَلَعَنَAnd cursedزُوَّارَاتِthe visitorsالْقُبُورِ،of the graves,وَالْمُتَّخِذِينَand those who takeعَلَيْهَاupon themالْمَسَاجِدَmosques[۱/۱۹][1/19]وَالسُّرُجِ.and the lanterns.
And cursed are the visitors of the graves, and those who take mosques upon them [1/19] and the lanterns.
