فِيInوَيَاOhعَجَبًاwonderلَوْifصَحَتْwere healthyالْعُقُولُmindsلَعَلِمْتُI would knowأَنَّthatطَرِيقَthe wayتَحْصِيلِto attainاللَّذَّةَpleasureوَالْفَرَحَةَand joyوَالسُّرُورَand happinessوَطَيِّبَةًand good livingإِنَّمَاis onlyهُوَitفِيinرِضَىthe pleasureمِنْofالنَّعِيمِthe blissكُلِّهِall of it
Oh, what a wonder it is that if the minds were healthy, I would know that the way to attain pleasure, joy, happiness, and good living is only in the pleasure of the bliss.
رِضَاهُ،His pleasure,وَالْأَلَمُand painوَالْعَذَابُand tormentكُلُّهُall of itفِيis inسَخَطِهِHis angerوَغَضَبِهِ.and wrath.
His pleasure, and all the pain and torment is in His anger and wrath.
فَفِيSo inرِضَاهِHis pleasureقُرَّةَis the joyالْعُيُونِ،of the eyes,وَسُرُورِand happinessالنُّفُوسِof the soulsوَحَيَاةِand the lifeالْقُلُوبِ،of the hearts,وَلَذَّةِand the pleasureالْأَرْوَاحِ،of the spirits,وَطَيِّبَةًand the good life,وَلَذَّةَand the pleasureالْعَيْشِof livingوَأَطْيَبِand the bestالنَّعِيمِof bliss;مِمَّاfrom whatلَوْifوُزِنَweighedمِنْهُof itمِثْقَالَan atom's weightذَرَّةًof a particleبِنَظِيفِof the blissالدُّنْيَاof this worldلَمْit would not be sufficientيَفِenoughبِهِ،for it.
So in His pleasure is the joy of the eyes, the happiness of the souls, the life of the hearts, the pleasure of the spirits, and the good life; and the best of bliss; from what if we weighed an atom’s weight of the bliss of this world it would not be sufficient for it.
بَلْRather,إِذَاifحَصَلَone attainedلِلْقَلْبِto the heartمِنَfromذَٰلِكَthatأَيْسَرَthe easiestنَصِيبٍportionلَمْdid notيَرْضَbe satisfiedبِالدُّنْيَاwith this worldوَمَاand whatفِيهَاis in itفَهُوَhe isيَتَنَعَّمُenjoying the pleasureبِنَصِيبِهِof his portionمِنَfromالدُّنْيَاthe worldأَعْظَمَgreaterمِنَthanتَنَعُّمِthe pleasureالْمُتْرَفِينَof the indulgentفِيهَا،in it,وَلَاand notيَشُوبُtaintedتَنَعُّمَهُhis enjoymentبِذَٰلِكَwith thatالْحَظِّfortuneالْيَسِيرِsmallمَاwhatيَشُوبُtaintsتَنَعّمِthe enjoymentالْمُتَرَفِينَof the indulgentمِنَfromالْهُمُومِworriesوَالْغُمُومِand sorrowsوَالْأَحْزَانِand griefsوَالْمُعَارَضَاتِ،and conflicts,
Rather, if one attained the easiest portion for the heart from that, he would not be satisfied with this world and what is in it. He is enjoying his portion from the world greater than the indulgence of the indulgent in it, nor is his enjoyment tainted with that small fortune what taints the enjoyment of the indulgent from worries, sorrows, griefs, and conflicts.
بَلْRather,قَدْindeedحَصَلَhe has attainedعَلَىuponالْنَّعِيمَيْنِ،the two bliss,وَهُوَand he isيَنْتَظِرُwaiting forنَعِيمَيْنِtwo other blissآخَرَيْنِgreater than them.أَعْظَمَthe most concentratedمِنْهُمَا.وَمَاof them. And whatيَحْدُثُoccurs to himلَهُto himفِيinخِلاَلَthe midstذَٰلِكَof thatمِنَfromالْآلَامِ،the pains,فَالأَمْرُthe matterكَمَاis asقَالَsaidاللَّهُGodسُبْحَانَهُ:the Exalted: ﴿﴿إِنَّIndeedتَكُونُواyou areتَأْلَمُونَin painفَإِنَّهُمْsurely they,يَأْلَمُونَare in painكَمَاasتَأْلَمُونَyou are in painوَتَرْجُونَand you hopeمِنَfromاللَّهِGodمَاwhatلَاnotيَرْجُونَthey hope.﴾﴾[النِّسَاءِ/[the women/ ١٠٤]104].
Rather, indeed he has attained the two bliss and he is waiting for two others greater than them. And what occurs to him in the midst of that from the pains, the matter is as God, the Exalted, said: "Indeed if you are in pain, surely they are in pain as you are in pain, and you hope from God what they do not hope." [the women/ 104].
فَلَاSo there is noإِلَٰهَgodإِلَّاexceptاللَّهَ،God,مَاwhatأَنْقَصَhas diminishedعَقْلَthe mindمِنْofبَاعٍsoldالدُّرَرَthe pearlsبِالْبَعْرِ،for dung,وَالْمِسْكِand the muskبِالرَّجِيعِfor excrementوَمُرَافَقَةِand the companionshipالَّذِينَof those whoأَنْعَمَhas blessedاللَّهُGodعَلَيْهِمupon themمِنَof/withالنَّبِيِّينَthe prophetsوَالصِّدِّيقِينَand the truthfulوَالشُّهَدَاءِand the martyrsوَالصَّالِحِينَand the righteousبِمُرَافَقَةِwith the companionshipالَّذِينَof those whoغَضِبَ angeredاللَّهُGodعَلَيْهِم،upon them,وَلَعَنَهُمْ،and cursed them,وَأَعَدَّand preparedلَهُمْfor themجَهَنَّمَhellوَسَاءَتْand is badمَصِيرًا!destination!
So there is no god except God, what has diminished the mind of one who sold the pearls for dung, and the musk for excrement, and the companionship of those whom God has blessed, from the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, with the companionship of those whom God has angered upon them, and cursed them, and prepared for them hell, and it is a bad destination!

Chapter And from the greatest of its punishments is that it brings about the severance between the servant and his Lord, the Blessed and Exalted. And when the severance occurs, the causes of goodness are severed from him.
