أَهَمِّيَّةُThe importanceالْكِتَابِof the bookوَالثَّنَاءِand the praiseعَلَيْهِupon it
The importance of the book and the praise upon it.
لَاIt is notيَخْفَىhiddenعَلَىfromمَنْanyone whoأَجَالَhas consideredالنَّظَرَthe viewفِيinالْفَقَرَاتِthe previous sectionsالسَّابِقَةِprevious
It is not hidden from anyone who has considered the view in the previous sections.
أَهَمِّيَّةُThe importanceهَذَاof thisالْكِتَابِbookالْقَيِّمِis valuableمِنْin terms ofحَيْثُitsمَوْضُوعِهِsubjectالْخَطِيرِwhich is criticalوَمَاand whatانْطَوَىit encompassesعَلَيْهِofمِنْbeneficialمَبَاحِثَresearch.جَلِيلَةٍNobleنَافِعَةٍand useful.
The importance of this valuable book is in terms of its critical subject and what it encompasses of noble and useful research.
فَقَدْIndeedتَصَدَّىthe authorفِيهِin itالْمُؤَلِّفُhas tackledرَحِمَهُmay God have mercy on himاللَّهُthisلِعِلَاجِin treatingدَاءٍa diseaseدَوِيٍّthat afflictsيَشْقَىthe patientبِهِwith itالْمَرِيضُthe suffering individual,وَيُحَارُand confusesفِيهِin itالطَّبِيبُthe physicianالنَّحِيرُthe learned.
Indeed, the author, may God have mercy on him, has tackled this book in treating a disease that afflicts the patient and confuses the learned physician.
وَصَفَHe describedلَهُto itكُلَّallالسُّبُلَthe meansالْمَانِعَةَto preventوَالْدَّافِعَةَand the means to push awayمِمَّاwhatوَفَّقَhe has been guidedاللَّهُby Godإِلَيْهِto itمِنْthroughخِلَالِhis considerationتَدَبُّرِهِof contemplationلِكِتَابِهِof his holy bookالْعَزِيزِthe preciousوَمَدَارَسَتِهِand studyingلِسُنَّةِthe traditionرَسُولِهِof his messenger.
He described to it all the means to prevent and to push away what he has been guided by God to through his contemplation of his holy book and studying the tradition of his messenger.
وَقَدْAndتَكَلَّمَthe author spokeالْمُؤَلِّفُaboutفِيinغُصُونِهِthe sections of the bookعَنِaboutمَسَائِلَimportant issuesمُهِمَّةٍthat we presentedعَرَضْنَاin detailingلَهَاitفِيinبَيَانِthe statementتَرْتِيبِof the book.الْكِتَابِof the book.
And the author spoke about important issues in the sections of the book that we presented in detailing the statement of the arrangement of the book.
وَهُوَAnd heنَفْسُهُhimselfيُنَبِّهُalertsأَحْيَانًاsometimesعَلَىtoأَهَمِّيَّةِthe importanceبَعْضِof someالْمَبَاحِثِresearch topicsوَشِدَّةِand the severityالْحَاجَةِof the needإِلَيْهَاfor it,وَذَٰلِكَand that isمِنْdue toكَمَالِthe completenessنَصْحِهِof his adviceوَأَمَانَتِهِand his integrityوَإِشْفَاقِهِand his compassionعَلَىonقَارِئِهِthe readerكِتَابِهِof his book,لِيَقِفَto standعِندَatتِلْكَthoseالْمَبَاحِثِresearch topicsوَيَتَأَمَّلَهَاand contemplate them,وَلَاand notيَمُرَّpass byبِهَاthemعَجَلًاhastily.
And he himself sometimes alerts to the importance of some issues and the severity of the need for them, and that is due to the completeness of his advice, integrity, and compassion on the reader of his book, to stand at those issues and contemplate them, and not to pass by them hastily.
وَمِنْAnd amongذَٰلِكَthatأَنَّهُwhenلَمَّاhe spoke aboutتَكَلَّمَthe issueعَلَىofمَسْأَلَةِthe issue ofدَفْعِpushing awayالْقَدَرِdivine decreeبِالْقَدَرِwith divine decreeقَالَhe said:فَهَذِهِ"Thisالْمَسْأَلَةُissueمِنْis one ofأَشْرَفِthe most nobleالْمَسَائِلِof the issuesلِمَنْfor whoeverعَرَفَknowsقَدْرَهَاits valueوَرَعَاهَاand takes care of itحَقًّاas it should beرِعَايَتَهَاit."
And among that is when he spoke about the issue of pushing away divine decree with divine decree he said: "This issue is one of the most noble of the issues for whoever knows its value and takes care of it as it should be."

وَقَالَAnd he said:أَيْضًاAlsoمَنْwhoeverفَهِمَunderstandsهَذِهِthisالْمَسْأَلَةَissueوَتَأَمَّلَهَاand contemplates itحَقًّاas it should beالتَّأَمُّلَhe benefits from itانْتَفَعَimmensely,وَلَمْand does notيَتَّكِلْrelyعَلَىonالْقَدَرِdivine decreeجَهْلًاout of ignoranceمِنْهُfrom himوَعَجْزًاand inabilityوَتَفَرُّطًاand negligenceوَإِضَاعَةًand loss,فَكَانَتْso his relianceتَوَكُّلٌis a form of incapacityعَجْزًاand his incapacityوَعَجْزَهُis reliance."
And he also said: "Whoever understands this issue and contemplates it as it should be benefits from it immensely, and does not rely on the divine decree out of ignorance, inability, negligence, and loss, so his reliance is a form of incapacity and his incapacity is reliance."

وَهَكَذَاAnd similarly,عِندَمَاwhenأَفْصَحَhe explainedالْفَرْقَthe distinctionأَنَّthatحُسْنَgoodnessالظَّنِّof thoughtبِاللَّهِabout Godتَعَالَىthe exaltedلَاdoes notيَجْتَمِعُcoexistمَعَwithالْإِسَاءَةِevil,وَلَنْand will notيَكُونَbeمُحْسِنًاone who thinks wellالظَّنَّof thoughtsبِرَبِّهِof his Lordمُقِيمًاwhile persistingعَلَىonمَعَاصِيهِhis sinsمُعَطِّلًاand neglectingلِحُقُوقِهِhis rights.
And similarly, when he explained the distinction that the goodness of thought about God, the Exalted, does not coexist with evil, and one who thinks well of his Lord will not be persisting in his sins and neglecting his rights.
التَفَتَHe turnedإِلَىtoالْقَارِئِthe readerوَقَالَand said to him:«فَتَأَمَّلْ"So contemplateهَذَاthisالْمَوْضِعَplace,وَتَأَمَّلْand reflectشِدَّةَthe severityالْحَاجَةَof the needإِلَيْهِfor it"
He turned to the reader and said to him: "So contemplate this place, and reflect on the severity of the need for it."

وَبَعْدَAnd afterتَوْضِيحِclarifyingالْفَرْقِthe differenceبَيْنَbetweenحُسْنِthe goodnessالظَّنِّof thoughtبِاللَّهِabout Godوَالْاغْتِرَارِand being deceivedبِعَفْوِهِby His forgiveness.
And after clarifying the difference between the goodness of thought about God and being deceived by His forgiveness.
