فَاتَmissedالْجَنَّةِthe paradiseهِيَit isالْمَلْوَىٰthe retreatوَتَحْتَand underقَوْلِهِhis sayingوَلِمَنْand for whoeverخَافَfearedمَقَامَthe statusرَبِّهِof his Lordجنتانtwo paradises
Paradise is the retreat, and under His saying: 'And for whoever feared the status of his Lord, there are two paradises.'
فَنَسْأَلُSo we askاللَّهَAllahالْعَظِيمَthe AlmightyرَبَّLordالْعَرْشِof the Throneالْعَظِيمِthe Greatأَنْto make usجَعَلَناmade usمِمَّنْamong those whoأَثَرَfollowedجَبْهَةَthe foreheadعَلَىonهَوَاهُhis desiresوَأَبْتَغِيand seekingبِذَلِكَtherebyرِضَاهُHis pleasureوَرَضَاهُand His satisfaction.
So we ask Allah, the Almighty, Lord of the Great Throne, to make us among those who follow their desires with their foreheads and seek thereby His pleasure and satisfaction.
تَمَّCompletedالْكِتَابَةُthe writing.
The writing is complete.
وَالْحَمْدُAnd praiseلِلَّهِbe to Allahرَبِّthe Lordالْعَالَمِينَof the worlds.جِدًّاVeryتَوَافُقِيagreeableنَعَمَyesوَكَانَand heفِيinمَزِيدَةٍhis increaseوَلَهُand for Himالْحَمْدُpraiseحَتَّىuntilيَرْضَىsatisfied.
And praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Very agreeable, yes, and He in His increase, and praise be for Him until He is satisfied.
وَصَلَّىAnd may Allah sendاللَّهُAllahعَلَىuponالنَّبِيِّMuhammadأَنَاI amمُحَمَّدٌMuhammadخَاتَمَthe Sealالْأَنْبِيَاءِof Prophets.
And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets.
هُوَHeوَandسَيِّدُthe masterالأَصْفِيَاءِof the pure onesوَعَلَىand uponآلِهِhis familyالطَّاهِرِينَthe pureوَandأَصْحَابِهِhis companionsالْمُنْتَجَبِينَthe chosen ones.
And upon his family, the pure ones, and upon his chosen companions.
وَرَضِيَAnd may Allah be pleasedاللَّهُwith Allahعَنْuponالتَّابِعِينَthe followers.
And may Allah be pleased with the followers.
وَAndإِحْسَانِgoodnessالْيَوْمِof the day.
And goodness of our day.
وَAndحَسْبُنَاenough for usاللَّهُis Allahوَنِعْمَand the bestالْوَكِيلُdisposer of affairs.
And Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
فِيInعَشِيَّةِthe eveningالْجُمُعَةِof Fridayالْآخِرِthe lastعَشَرَةِtenخَلَتْpassedمِنْofشَهْرِthe monthشَوَّالِShawwalالْمُبَارَكِthe blessedالْعَامِthe yearخَمْسِينَfiftyوَandسَبْعَةٍsevenوَسَبْعِينَand seventy.
In the evening of the last Friday of the blessed month of Shawwal, the year fifty and seven.
احْمِMay Allah protectاللَّهُAllahكُلُّall itsوَandتَقْضِيَاتِهَاits affairsوَandنَفْعَbenefitالَّذِينَthose who are in itوَandأَرْضِهَاits landمَاwhat is in itوَكَرَامَتِهَاand its honor.
May Allah protect all its affairs and benefit those who are in it and honor it.
وَandكَرَمِهَاgenerosity.
And generosity.
