كَعِلْمِنَاlike our knowledgeلَأَنَّbecauseعِلْمَنَاour knowledgeحَادِثٌis createdلَاnotيَخْلُوfree fromعَنْfromمُعَارَضَةًoppositionsالوَهْمِillusionوَعِلْمُهُand His knowledgeتَعَالَىthe Most Highقَدِيمٌis eternalجَلَّexaltedأَنْthatيَكُونَit isضَرُورِيًّاnecessaryأَوْorكَسْبِيًّاacquiredأَوْorتَصَوُّرًاimaginationأَوْorتَصْدِيقًاconfirmation
Like our knowledge, because our knowledge is created and not free from the oppositions of illusion, and His knowledge is the Most High and is eternal, exalted is He that it is not necessary or acquired or imagined or confirmed.
وَيَقْدِرُAnd He is capableلَاnotكَقُدْرَتِنَاlike our capabilityلَأَنَّbecauseقُدْرَتَهُHis capabilityتَعَالَىthe Most Highقَدِيمَةٌis ancientوَمُؤَثِّرَةٌand effectiveبِالإِيحَادِin creatingوَقُدْرَتُنَاAnd our capabilityحَادِثَةٌis createdغَيْرَnotمُؤَثِّرَةٌeffectiveوَنَحْنُand weلَاnotنَقْدِرُwe canإِلَّاexceptعَلَىonبَعْضِsomeالأَشْيَاءِthingsبِالْآلَاتِby toolsوَالأَسْبَابِand causesوَالأَنْصَارِand helpersوَاللَّهُand Allahتَعَالَىthe Most Highقَادِرٌis capableبِقُدْرَتِهِby His powerالْقَدِيمَةِthe ancientعَلَىonجَمِيعِallالأَشْيَاءِthingsلَاnotبِآلَةٍby toolsوَلَاnorبِمُشَارَكَةٍby sharingغَيْرِهِothers
And He is capable not like our capability, because His capability, the Most High, is ancient and effective in creating, and our capability is created, not effective, and we cannot except on some things by tools, causes, and helpers; and Allah, the Most High, is capable by His ancient power over all things, not by tools nor by sharing with others.
وَيَرَىAnd He seesلَاnotكَرُؤْيَتِنَاlike our sightلَأَنَّbecauseنَرَىwe seeالأَشْكَالَthe shapesوَالأَلْوَانَand colorsبِالْآلَاتِby toolsوَالشُّرُوطِand conditionsوَاللَّهُand Allahتَعَالَىthe Most Highيَرَىseesالأَشْكَالَthe shapesوَالأَلْوَانَand colorsبِبَصَرِهِwith His sightالَّذِيwhichهُوَisصِفَتُهُHis attributeفِيinالأَزَلِeternityلَاnotبِآلَةٍby toolsوَلَاnorبِشُرُوطٍby conditionsمِنْofزَمَانٍtimeوَمَكَانٍand placeوَجْهَةٍdirectionوَمُقَابَلَةٍand oppositions
And He sees not like our sight, because we see the shapes and colors by tools and conditions, and Allah the Most High sees the shapes and the colors with His sight which is His attribute in eternity, not by tools nor by conditions of time and place, direction and oppositions.
وَيَتَكَلَّمُAnd He speaksلَاnotكَكَلَامِنَاlike our speechلَأَنَّbecauseنَتَكَلَّمُwe speakبِالْآلَاتِby toolsوَالشُّرُوطِand conditionsوَاللَّهُand Allahتَعَالَىthe Most Highيَسْمَعُhearsالأَصْوَاتَthe soundsوَالكَلِمَاتِand the wordsكُلَّهَاallبِسَمْعِهِwith His hearingالْقَدِيمِthe ancientلَاnotبِآلَةٍby toolsمِنْofأُذُنٍearوَصُمَّاخٍand eardrumوَلَاnorبِشَرْطٍby the conditionمِنْofزَمَانٍtimeوَمَكَانٍand placeوَجْهَةٍdirectionوَقُرْبٍand proximityوَبُعْدٍand distanceوَنَحْنُand weنَتَكَلَّمُspeakبِالْآلَاتِby toolsوَالحُرُوفِand lettersوَاللَّهُand Allahتَعَالَىthe Most Highيَتَكَلَّمُspeaksبِلَاwithoutآلَةٍtoolوَلَاnorحُرُوفٍlettersوَالحُرُوفُand the lettersمَخْلُوقَةٌare createdلَأَنَّbecauseفَنَاؤُهُHis essenceوَيَعْلَمُand He knowsاللَّهُAllahالْقَائِمُthe standingفِيinحَالِthe stateقِيَامِof standingقَائِمًاstandingوَإِذَاand ifقَعَدَhe sitsفَقَدْthenعِلْمُهُHis knowledgeقَاعِدًاsittingفِيinحَالِthe stateقُعُودِهِof sittingمِنْofغَيْرِnotأَنْthatيَتَغَيَّرُit changesعِلْمُهُHis knowledgeأَوْorيَحْدُثُoccursلَهُto himعِلْمٌknowledgeوَلَكِنَّbutالتَّغَيُّرَchangesوَالِاخْتِلَافَand differencesيَحْدُثُoccurعِندَatالْمَخْلُوقِينَthe created
And He speaks not like our speech, because we speak by tools and conditions, and Allah the Most High hears all the sounds and words with His ancient hearing, not by tools of ear and eardrum, nor by condition of time, place, direction, proximity, and distance; and we speak by tools and letters, and Allah the Most High speaks without tool and without letters, and the letters are created, because His essence is eternal. And He knows Allah, the standing in the state of standing, and if he sits, then His knowledge of sitting is present, in the state of sitting, without His knowledge changing or occurring to Him, but changes and differences occur among the created.
