ٱلْمُؤَلِّفُThe authorمِنْfromٱلْمَخْلُوقِthe createdمَخْلُوقٌcreatedوَكَلَامِand the speechٱللَّهِof AllahتَعَالَىٰMost Highغَيْرَis notمَخْلُوقٍcreated
The author is created, and the speech of Allah, Most High, is not created.
لِأَنَّBecauseكَلَامَهُHis speechتَعَالَىٰMost Highقَدِيمٌis ancientقَائِمٌis establishedبِذَاتِin the essenceٱللَّهِof AllahتَعَالَىٰMost Highلَاdoes notيَقْبَلُacceptsٱلْإِنْفِصَالَseparationوَٱلْإِفْتِرَاقَand divisionإِلَىtoٱلْقُلُوبِheartsوَٱلْآذَانِand ears
Because His speech, Most High, is ancient, established in the essence of Allah, Most High, and does not accept separation and division to the hearts and ears.
وَهُوَAnd it isشَيْءٌsomethingلِقَوْلِهِdue to His sayingتَعَالَىٰMost High«"قُلْSayأَيُّwhatشَيْءٍthingأَكْبَرُgreaterشَهَادَةٍtestimonyقُلْSayٱللَّهَAllah
And it is something due to His saying, Most High, 'Say, what is greater in testimony? Say, Allah.'
لَاNotكَٱلْأَشْيَاءِlike other thingsلِقَوْلِهِdue to His sayingتَعَالَىٰMost Highلَيْسَis notكَمَثَلِهِlike Himشَيْءٌthing
Not like other things, due to His saying, Most High, 'There is nothing like Him.'
وَمَعْنَىٰAnd the meaningٱلشَّيْءِof the thingٱلثَّابِتِestablishedوَمَعْنَىٰAnd the meaningٱلثَّابِتِthe establishedٱلْمَوْجُودِexistentوَفِيAnd inأَكْثَرِmostٱلنُّسَخِof the copiesإِثْبَاتِهِits affirmationأَيِthat is(إِثْبَاتٌ(affirmationذَٰلِكَthatٱلشَّيْءَthingأَيُّthat youأَنْtoتُثْبِتَهُprove it(بِلَا(withoutجِسْمٍ)body)هَذَاThisبَيَانٌis a clarificationلِقَوْلِهِdue to His sayingلَاnotكَٱلْأَشْيَاءِlike other thingsلِأَنَّbecauseكُلَّeveryجِسْمٍbodyمُنْقَسِمٌis divisibleوَكُلٌّand everyمُنْقَسِمٌdividedمُرَكَّبٌis compositeوَكُلٌّand everyمُرَكَّبٌcompositeمُحْدَثٌis createdوَكُلٌّand everyمُحْدَثٌcreatedمُحْتَاجٌneedsإِلَىtoٱلْمُحْدِثِthe creatorفَكُلُّThus, everyجِسْمٍbodyمُمْكِنٌpossibleيَحْتَاجُneedsإِلَىtoوَاجِبِnecessaryٱلْوُجُودِexistenceوَلَاand notجَوْهَرٍ)substance)لِأَنَّbecauseٱلْجَوْهَرُthe substanceيَكُونُisمَحَلًّۭاa placeلِلْأَعْرَاضِfor attributesوَٱلْحَوَادِثِand accidentsوَٱللَّهُAnd AllahتَعَالَىٰMost Highمُنَزَّهٌis pureعَنْfromذَٰلِكَthatوَلَاand not(عَرَضٍ)(attribute)لِأَنَّbecauseٱلْعَرَضُthe attributeلَاdoes notيَقُومُestablishedبِذَاتِهِby itselfبَلْbutيَفْتَقِرُdependsإِلَىonمَحَلٍّplaceيَقُومُexistsبِهِin itفَيَكُونُso it becomesمُمْكِنًاpossibleوَلَاand notحَدٍّa limitلَهُfor itلِأَنَّbecauseٱلْحَدُّthe limitتَعَرُّفٌis the definitionٱلْمَاهِيَةِof essenceبِذِكْرِby mentioningأَجْزَائِهَاits partsوَوَاجِبٌand Necessaryٱلْوُجُودِexistenceفَرْدٌis an individualلَاnotجُزْءٌa partلَهُfor itفَيَمْتَنِعُso it is impossibleأَنْthatتَعَالَىٰMost Highٱلْخَلْقُthe creationسَلِيمٌis freeمِنْfromٱلْكُفْرِdisbeliefوَٱلْإِيمَانِand faithثُمَّThenخَاطَبَهُمْaddressed themوَأَمَرَهُمْand commanded themوَنَهَاهُمْand forbade themفَكَفَرَSo disbeliefمَنْwhoكَفَرَdisbelievedوَإِنْكَارَهُand denyingوَجَحُودَهُand rejectionٱلْحَقِّthe truthيُخْذَلَانِwill be abandonedٱللَّهُAllahتَعَالَىٰMost HighإِيَّاهُhimوَآمَنَAnd believedمَنْwhoآمَنَbelievedبِفَعْلِهِby his actionوَإِقْرَارِهِand testimonyوَتَصْدِيقِهِand confirmationبِتَوْفِيقٍby success
And the author is created, and the speech of Allah, Most High, is not created because His speech is ancient, established in the essence of Allah, Most High, does not accept separation and division to the hearts and ears. And it is something due to His saying, Most High, 'Say, what is greater in testimony? Say, Allah.' Not like other things, due to His saying, Most High, 'There is nothing like Him.' And the meaning of the thing is established, and the meaning of the established is existent; and in most copies, its affirmation is that you prove it (without body), this is a clarification due to His saying, 'Not like the other things.' because every body is divisible, and every divided is composite, and every composite is created, and all created needs the creator, so every body that is possible needs the necessary existence, and not substance, because the substance is a place for attributes and accidents, and Allah, Most High, is pure from that. And not an attribute, because the attribute does not establish itself but depends on a place to exist in it, so it becomes possible. And not a limit for it, because the limit is the definition of essence by mentioning its parts, and Necessary existence is an individual that has no part, so it is impossible that the Most High creation is free from disbelief and faith, then He addressed them and commanded them and forbade them, so he who disbelieved disbelieves and denying and rejection of the truth will be abandoned by Allah, Most High, him, and he who believed by his action and his testimony and confirmation by success.
