So the servant enjoins avoiding from sins and complying with the commands.

وَبِإِجَابَةٍAnd by respondingالْعَبْدُthe servantإِلَىtoذَٰلِكَthatصَارَhe becameمُؤْمِنًاa believerتَقِيًّاpiousحَتَّىuntilدَخَلَhe entersتَحْتَunderقَوْلِهِHis sayingتَعَالَىExaltedإِنَّIndeedأَكْرَمَكُمْthe most honored among youعِندَwithاللَّهَGodأَتْقَاكُمْis the most pious among you

And by responding to that, the servant became a believer and pious until he entered under His saying, Exalted is He, 'Indeed, the most honored among you with God is the most pious among you.'

وَقِيلَAnd it was saidلِلنَّبِيِّto the Prophetلَهُto himمَنْwho fromآلَكَyou?قَالَHe saidكُلُّEveryمُؤْمِنٍbelieverفَإِنَّFor ifلَمْnotيَجِبْhe respondsإِلَىtoذَٰلِكَthatزَالَhe losesعَنْهُfrom himالتَّقْوَىpietyوَاتَّسَمَand he is markedبِسَمَةٍwith a markالْفَسْقِof corruptionبِإِرْتِكَابِهِfor committingالْمَعَاصِيsinsفَيَخَافُHe fearsعَلَيْهِupon himلِفَسْقِهِfor his corruptionلَهُto himبِمَحْضِby mereإِيمَانِهِhis faith

And it was said to the Prophet, 'Who is he?' He said, 'Every believer; for if he does not respond to that, he loses piety from him and he is marked with the mark of corruption for committing sins; he fears upon him for his corruption by mere faith.'

فَإِذَاSo whenصَارَhe becomesهَاهُنَاhereعُقُودٌcontractsأَرْبَعَةٌfourوَيُرَجَّىand it is hopedالتَّوْحِيدُthe Onenessوَالْمَعْرِفَةُand the knowledgeوَالْإِيمَانُand the faithوَالْإِسْلَامُand the Islamلَيْسَتْare notهِيَtheyبِوَاحِدَةٍoneوَلَاnorمُتَغَايِرَةٍvarious

So when he becomes here, there are four contracts: Oneness, knowledge, faith, and Islam, they are not one nor are they various.

فَإِذَاSo ifاجْتَمَعَتْthey gatherصَارَتْthey becomeدِينًاa religionوَهِيَand it isمَعْنَىthe meaningقَوْلِهِof His sayingتَعَالَىExaltedإِنَّIndeedالدِّينَthe religionعِندَwithاللَّهِGodالإِسْلَامُis Islam
