وُجُوهٌfacesيَوْمَئِذٍthat dayنَاضِرَةٌradiantإِلَىtoرَبِّهَاtheir Lordنَاظِرَةٌlooking
The faces on that day will be radiant, looking towards their Lord.
وَلِأَنَّهُand because itمَوْجُودَةٌexistsبِصِفَاتِwith the attributesالْكَمَالِof perfection,,وَأَنَّand thatيَكُونَit isمَرْئِيًّاvisibleلِنَفْسِهِto Himselfوَلِغَيْرِهِand to othersمِنْofصِفَاتِattributesالْكَمَالِperfection,,وَالْمُؤْمِنُand the believerلَاdoes notكَرَامَةٌdignityبِذَلِكَwith thatأَهْلٌpeople,,لَكِنَّbutإِثْبَاتٌprovingالْجِهَةِthe directionمُمْتَنِعٌimpossibleفَصَارَso it becameمُتَشَابِهًاsimilarبَوَصْفِهِin description..فَوَجَبَso it is necessaryتَسْلِيمٌto submitالْمُتَشَابِهَاتِthe ambiguousعَلَىtoاعْتِقَادٍthe beliefالْحَقِيقَةِthe truth(وَالْإِيمَانِ)(and faith)
And because it exists with the attributes of perfection, and that it is visible to Himself and to others of the attributes of perfection, the believer does not hold dignity with that. But proving the direction is impossible, so it became similar in description, hence it is necessary to submit to the ambiguous regarding the belief in the truth (and faith).
فِيinاللُّغَةِthe languageالتَّصْدِيقِbeliefوَهُوَand it isقَبُولٌacceptanceخَبَرٌnewsالْمُخْبِرُthe informantبِالْقَلْبِin the heartوَمَعْنَاهُand its meaningبِالتُّرْكِيِّin Turkish::(إِينَا)(Eyna)نَمَاق)Namak)وَفِيand inالشَّرْعِthe law,,(هُوَ(it isالإِقْرَارُthe acknowledgmentبِاللِّسَانِwith the tongue(وَالتَّصْدِيقِ)(and the belief)بِالْجَنَانِin the heartبِأَنَّthatاللَّهَGodتَعَالَىExaltedوَاحِدٌOneلَاnoشَرِيكٌpartnerلَهُfor Himمَوْصُوفٌdescribedبِصِفَاتِwith attributesالذَّاتِيَّةِthe essenceوَالْفِعْلِيَّةِand the actionsوَبِأَنَّand thatمُحَمَّدًاMuhammadرَسُولَMessengerاللَّهِof GodأَيwhichنَبِيِّهِHis Prophetالَّذِيwhoبَعَثَهُsent himبِالْكِتَابِwith the Bookوَالشَّرِيعَةِand the law..فَالْإِقْرَارُSo the acknowledgmentوَحْدَهُaloneلَاdoes notيَكُونَisإِيمَانًاbeliefلِأَنَّهُbecauseلَوْifكَانَit wasإِيمَانًاbeliefلَكَانَthere would beالْمُنَافِقُونَthe hypocritesكُلُّهُمْall of themمُؤْمِنِينَbelievers
In the language, faith is acceptance of the news of the informant in the heart and its meaning in Turkish: (Eyna) Namak). And in the law (it is the acknowledgment with the tongue (and the belief) in the heart that God is One, with no partner for Him, described with His attributes of essence and actions, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, that is, His Prophet who was sent with the Book and the law. So acknowledgment alone does not constitute faith, because if it was faith, the hypocrites would all be believers.
وَكَذَٰلِكَand likewiseالْمَعْرِفَةُknowledgeوَحْدَهَاaloneلَاdoes notتَكُونَbeإِيمَانًاfaithلِأَنَّهَاbecause itلَوْifكَانَتْit wasإِيمَانًاfaithلَكَانَتْthere would beأَهْلُthe peopleالْكِتَابِof the Bookكُلُّهُمْall of themمُؤْمِنِينَbelievers
And likewise, knowledge alone does not constitute faith, because if it was faith, all the people of the Book would be believers.
وَقَالَAnd saidاللَّهُGodتَعَالَىExaltedفِيinحَقِّin the truthالْمُنَافِقِينَof the hypocrites::«وَاللَّهُ"And Godيَشْهَدُbears witnessأَنَّthatالْمُنَافِقِينَthe hypocritesلِكَاذِبُونَare liars,,وَقَالَAnd saidاللَّهُGodتَعَالَىExaltedفِيinحَقِّin the truthأَهْلِof the Peopleالْكِتَابِof the Book::«الَّذِينَ"Those whoآتَيْنَاهُمُWe provided themالْكِتَابَthe Bookيَعْرِفُونَهُthey know itكَمَاasيَعْرِفُونَthey knowأَبْنَاءَهُمْtheir sonsهُمْthey..فَمَنSo whoeverأَرَادَwantsأَنْto beيَكُونَbeمِنْofأُمَّةِthe communityمُحَمَّدٍMuhammad ﷺ ﷺفَقَالَso he saidبِلِسَانِهِwith his tongueلَاthere is noإِلَهَgodإِلَّاexceptاللَّهَAllah,,مُحَمَّدٌMuhammadرَسُولُMessengerاللَّهِof God,,لَمْdid notتَكُنْbeلَهُمْfor themالْحَسَنَاتُthe good deeds
And God, Exalted says about the hypocrites: "And God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars." And God, Exalted says about the People of the Book: "Those whom We provided the Book, they know it as they know their sons. So whoever wants to be of the community of Muhammad ﷺ should say with his tongue, 'There is no god except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' They did not have good deeds.
فَطُرِحَتْSo it was thrownالسَّيِّئَاتُthe bad deedsعَلَيْهِمْupon themحَقٌّthe rightجَائِزٌpermissible,,وَالْجَنَّةُand the Paradiseوَالنَّارُand the Fireمَخْلُوقَتَانِare createdالْيَوْمَtodayلَاnotتَفْنِيَانِceaseأَبَدًاforeverوَلَاand notتَمُوتَانِthey will die
So the bad deeds are permissible upon them, and the Paradise and the Fire are created today, they will not cease forever, nor will they die.
