And for this, He named them the Magians of this nation because they adhered to the religion of the Magians and defended their sayings, and claimed that there are creators for good and evil, as the Magians claimed that there are evils that Allah does not will, as the Magians said, and that they possess harm and benefit for themselves without Allah. Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, returned the statement to His Prophet, peace be upon him: "Say, I do not possess any benefit or harm for myself except what Allah wills."

And about what they unified without their Lord, they affirmed for themselves wealth from Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, and they described themselves with the ability to what they describe Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, with ability, as the Magians affirmed for the devil that what they did not establish for Allah, the Almighty and Exalted. So they were Magians of this nation, since they adhered to the religion of the Magians and held onto their sayings and leaned towards their delusions. They despaired the people of the mercy of Allah and lost hope for them of His spirit, and they judged the sinners with fire and eternity in it, contrary to the saying of Allah, the Most High: "And He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills."
