حَاوِيَةٌcontainerلَهُfor himفَلْزِمَهُمْit was necessary for themأَنْtoيَكُونَbeالشَّجَرَthe treeبِذَٰلِكَwith thatالكَلامَthe speechمُتَكَلِّمًاspeaking
It was necessary for them that the tree be speaking with that speech.
وَوَجَبَand it was obligatoryعَلَيْهِمْupon themأَنْtoمَخْلُوقًاa created beingمِنَfromالمَخْلُوقِينَthe created beingsكَلَّمَspokeمُوسَىMosesوَأَنْand thatالشَّجَرَةَthe tree
And it was obligatory for them that a created being from the created beings spoke to Moses, and that the tree...
أَنَاI amاللَّهُGodلَاnoإِلَٰهَdeityإِلَّاexceptأَنَاI amفَاعْبُدْنِيso worship Me
I am God; there is no deity except Me, so worship Me.
فَلَوْAnd ifكَانَتit wasقَالَتshe saidيَاOمُوسَىMosesإِنِّيIndeed IكَلَامُspeechاللَّهِGodمَخْلُوقًاcreatedفِيinشَجَرَةٍtreeلَكَانَit would have beenالمَخْلُوقُthe created beingقَالَتْsaidيَاOمُوسَىMosesإِنِّيIndeed IأَنَاI amاللَّهُGodلَاnoإِلَٰهَdeityإِلَّاexceptأَنَاI amفَاعْبُدْنِيso worship Me
And if it was said: 'O Moses, indeed I am the speech of God created in a tree', it would have meant that the created being said, 'O Moses, indeed I am God; there is no deity except Me, so worship Me.'
وَقَالَAnd He hasاللَّهُGodعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almightyوَلَكِنbutحَقٌّthe truthالْقَوْلُsayingمِنِّيfrom MeلَأَمْلَأَنَّI will fillجَهَنَّمَHellمِنَfromالْجَنَّةِParadiseوَالنَّاسِand the peopleأَجْمَعِينَall together
And God the Almighty said: 'But the truth of the saying from Me is that I will fill Hell from Paradise and the people all together.'
وَكَلَامُAnd the speechاللَّهِGodعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe AlmightyمِنْfromاللَّهِGodلَاnoيَجُوزُis permissibleأَنْtoيَكُونَbeكَلَامُهُHis speechالَّذِيthat whichهُوَisمِنْهُfrom Himمَخْلُوقًاcreatedفِيinشَجَرَةٍa treeكَمَاasلَاnoيَجُوزُis permissibleأَنْtoيَكُونَbeعِلْمُهُHis knowledgeالَّذِيthat whichهُوَisمِنْهُfrom Himمَخْلُوقًاcreatedفِيinغَيْرِهِother than HimتَعَالَىExaltedاللَّهُGodعَنْaboutذَٰلِكَthatعُلُوًّاexaltednessكُبْرَىgreat
And the speech of God the Almighty from God cannot be created in a tree, just as His knowledge which is from Him cannot be created in others; Exalted is God about that, greatly exalted.
(جَوَاب)(Answer)وَيُقَالُAnd it is saidلَهُمْto themكَمَاasلَاit is not permissibleيَجُوزُis permissible
(Answer) And it is said to them, as it is not permissible for God the Almighty to create His will in some of the created beings, likewise it is not permissible to create His speech in some of the created beings.
وَلَوْEven ifكَانَتit wasإِرَادَةَthe willاللَّهِof Allahمَخْلُوقَةًcreatedفِيinبَعْضِsomeالْمَخْلُوقَاتِcreaturesلَكَانَit would have beenذَٰلِكَthatالمَخْلُوقُcreated beingهُوَit isالْمُرِيدُthe willingلَهَاfor itوَذَٰلِكَAnd thatيَسْتَحِيلُis impossible
And if the will of Allah was created in some of the creatures, that created being would be the one willing for it, and that is impossible.
وَكَذَٰلِكَAnd likewiseيَسْتَحِيلُis impossibleأَنْtoيَخْلُقَcreateاللَّهُGodكَلَامَهُHis speechفِيinمَخْلُوقٍbeing createdلَأَنَّbecauseهَذَاthisيُوجِبُnecessitatesأَنْthatذَٰلِكَthatالمَخْلُوقُcreated beingمُتَكَلِّمٌspeaksلَهُfor himوَيَسْتَحِيلُAnd it is impossibleأَنْtoيَكُونَbeكَلَامٌspeechاللَّهِof Allahعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almighty
And likewise, it is impossible for God to create His speech in a creature, because this necessitates that the created being speaks for Him, and it is impossible that the speech of the Almighty God speaks for the created being.
(دَّلِيلٌ(Evidenceآخَرُ)Another)وَمِمَّاAnd from whatيُبْطِلُnullifiesقَوْلَهُمْtheir statementأَنَّthatاللَّهَGodعَزَّ وَجَلَّthe Almightyقَالَsaidمُخْبِرًاinformingعَنْaboutالْمُشْرِكِينَthe polytheistsأَنَّهُمْthat theyقَالُواthey saidإِنَّIndeedهَذَاthisإِلَّاnothing butقَوْلُthe sayالْبَشَرِof humansيَعْنِيmeaningالْقُرْآنَthe QuranفَمَنSo whoeverزَعَمَclaimed
(Another Evidence) And from what nullifies their statement is that God the Almighty said, informing about the polytheists that they said: 'Indeed, this is nothing but the speech of humans', meaning the Quran. So whoever claimed...
وَتُبْطِلُand nullifiesفَلَاso noيَجُوزُis permissibleأَنْtoيَبْتَدِعَto innovateفِيهِمَاin bothتِلَكَthatالْخَبَرَاتِreports
and nullifies, so no is permissible to innovate in both those reports.
