الْحَدِيثُThe HadithأُجِيبُI reply

The Hadith: I reply

الْفِقْهُ الْأَكْبَرُThe Greater Jurisprudence::إِيمَانٌBeliefأَهْلٌPeopleالسَّمَاءُof heavenوَandالْأَرْضُthe earthلَاdoes notيَزِيدُincreaseوَandلَاdoes notيَنْقُصُdecrease

The Greater Jurisprudence: The belief of the people of heaven and earth does not increase nor decrease.

وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَAnd the believersمَسْتَوُونَare equalفِيinدَرَجَةِdegreeالإِيْمَانِfaithوَandالتَّوْحِيدِmonotheismمُتَفَاضِلُونَare distinguishedفِيinالأَعْمَالِthe actions,,فَإِنْIfقِيلَit is saidيُرَدُّis referred toعلَيْنَاto usقَوْلُهُHis sayingتَعَالَىMost High::لِيَزْدَادُواto increase themإِيمَانًاin faith

And the believers are equal in the degree of faith and monotheism, but they are distinguished in actions. If it is said, it is referred to His saying, Most High: "to increase them in faith."

**وَandغَيْرُotherذَاكَthatمِنْofالْآيَاتِthe versesوَقَوْلُهُand His sayingصَلَّىPeace be upon himاللَّهُAllahعَلَيْهِupon himوَسَلَّمَand peace::الإِيْمَانُfaithبِضْعٌsomeوَandسَبْعُونَseventyشُعْبَةٌbranches

* And other than that, from the verses and His saying, Peace be upon him: 'Faith is some seventy branches.'

بِأَنَّthatذَاكَthatفِيinحَقِّthe rightالصَّحَابَةِthe companionsرَضِيَmay be pleased withعَنْهُمْthemلِأَنَّbecauseالْقُرْآنَthe Quranكَانَwasيَنْزِلُcoming down

that is in the right of the companions may be pleased with them because the Quran was coming down.

فِيinكُلِّeveryوَقْتٍtimeفَيُؤْمِنُونَand they believeبِهِin itفَيَكُونُso it becomesزِيَادَةٌan increaseعَلَىonالأَوَّلِthe firstوَأَمَّاAnd as forفِيinحَقِّنَاour rightفَلَاit does notلَانْقِطَاعِdue to the interruptionالوَحْيِof revelation

In every time, and they believe in it, so it becomes an increase on the first. And as for our right, it does not due to the interruption of revelation.

كَذَاLikewiseفِيinبَحْرِthe Seaالْكَلَامِof speech

Likewise, in the Sea of Speech.

وَرُوِيَAnd it was narratedعَنْfromابْنِIbnعَبَّاسٍAbbasرَضِيَmay be pleasedاللَّهُAllahعَنْهُabout himوَأَبِيand AbuحَنِيفَةَHanifaرَحِمَهُmay He have mercyاللَّهُAllahأَنَّهُمْthat theyكَانُواwereآمَنُواbelievedبِالْجُمْلَةِgenerally

And it was narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, and Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, that they believed generally.

ثُمَّThenيَأْتِيcomesفَرْضٌa commandبَعْدَafterفَرْضٍcommandفَيُؤْمِنُونَand they believeبِكُلِّwith everyفَرْضٍcommandخَاصٍّspecific

Then a command comes after a command and they believe in every specific command.

فَزَادَهُمْand increased themإِيمَانًاin faithبِالتَّفْضِيلِby preferenceمَعَalong withإِيمَانِهِمtheir faithبِالْجُمْلَةِgenerally

and increased them in faith by preference along with their general faith.

كَذَاLikewiseفِيinالشَّرْحِthe explanationفَيَكُونُso it becomesزِيَادَةٌan increaseالْإِيمَانِof faithبِاعْتِبَارِconsideringالْمُؤْمِنِthe believerفِيinلَاdoes notفِيinأَصْلِthe essenceالتَّصْدِيقِof confirmation

Likewise, in the explanation, so it becomes an increase of faith considering the believer in it does not in the essence of confirmation.

**اللَّهُAllahفَصْلٌthe sectionقَالَsaidالْمُصَنِّفُthe authorأَبُوAbuحَنِيفَةُHanifaرَضِيَmay be pleasedاللَّهُAllahعَنْهُabout him::(وَ(Andالْمُؤْمِنُthe believerمُؤْمِنٌis a believerحَقًّاtrulyوَandالْكَافِرُthe disbelieverكَافِرٌis a disbelieverحَقًّاtrulyأَقُولُI sayإِنَّIndeedمَنْwhoقَامَstandsبِهِwith itالتَّصْدِيقِthe confirmationفَهُوَhe isمُؤْمِنٌa believerحَقًّاtruly.وَمَنْAnd whoeverقَامَstandsبِهِagainst itخِلَافَهُoppositionفَهُوَhe isكَافِرٌdisbelieverحَقًّاtruly.كَذَاLikewiseفِيinالشَّرْحِthe explanation،,

* Allah, the section said the author Abu Hanifa may Allah be pleased with him: (And the believer is a believer truly, and the disbeliever is a disbeliever truly. I say, indeed, whoever stands with the confirmation, he is a believer truly, and whoever stands against it with opposition, he is a disbeliever truly.) Likewise, in the explanation,
