The Book of Greatness, narrated by Wahb ibn Munabbih, said that Allah, Most High, created the Throne from His light, and the Chair is attached to the Throne; all the water is in the interior of the Chair, and the water is on the surface of the wind, and around the Throne there are four rivers: a river of pearls that shines, a river of fire that burns, a river of white snow, from which the eyes shimmer, and a river of water. The angels are standing in those rivers, all of them glorifying Allah, the Most High. And for the Throne, the years are as numerous as the years of creation.

They glorify the rivers, all of them; so He glorifies Allah and remembers Him by those tongues.
