غَلَطٌwrongمَنْwhoقَالَsaidفِيinقَوْلِهِhis sayingتَعَالَىThe Most High::قَدْindeedكَفَرْتُمْyou have disbelievedبَعْدَafterإِيمَانِكُمْyour faithوَنَحْوُهَاand similar things
Wrong is the one who said in His saying, The Most High: "Indeed, you have disbelieved after your faith," and similar things.
أَنَّهُمْthat theyكَفَرُواdisbelievedبِلسَانِهِمwith their tonguesمَعَwhileكُفْرِهِمtheir disbeliefأَوَّلًاfirstبِقُلُوبِهِمwith their hearts
That they disbelieved with their tongues while their disbelief was first with their hearts.
تَفْسِيرُInterpretationقَوْلِهِof His sayingتَعَالَىThe Most High::مَثَلُهُمْTheir exampleكَمَثَلِis likeالَّذِيthe one whoاسْتَوْقَدَkindledنَارًاa fire
The interpretation of His saying, The Most High: "Their example is like the one who kindled a fire..."
تَفْسِيرُInterpretationقَوْلِهِof His sayingتَعَالَىThe Most High::وَالَّذِينَAnd those whoكَفَرُواdisbelievedأَعْمَالَهُمْtheir deedsكَسَرَابٍis like mirageبَقِيْعَةٍin a dry land
The interpretation of His saying, The Most High: "And those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage in a dry land..."
أَسْبَابٌReasonsنِفَاقٍhypocrisyمِنْfromنَافَقَتْthose who hypocritedعَلَىduringعَهْدِthe time ofرَسُولِthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allahصَلَّىpeace be upon himوَسَلَّمَand blessings
Reasons for the hypocrisy of those who hypocrited during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
الأَلْفَاظُThe wordsالْمَوْجُودَةُthat existفِيinالْقُرْآنِthe Quranوَالْحَدِيثِand the Hadithإِذَاifعُرِفَتْknownتَفْسِيرُهَاits interpretationوَمَاand whatأُرِيدَis intendedبِهَاby itمِنْfromجَانِبِthe side ofالنَّبِيِّthe Prophetلَمْnotيُحَتَجَّargueفِيinذَٰلِكَthatإِلَىtoالِاسْتِدْلَالِthe inferringبِأَقْوَالِby the statementsأَهْلِof the peopleاللُّغَةِof languageوَلَاnorغَيْرِهِمothers
The words that exist in the Quran and the Hadith, if their interpretation is known and what is intended by it from the side of the Prophet, there is no need to argue that by the statements of the people of language or others.
مَاWhatتَقُولُهُyou sayالْخَوَارِجُthe Khawarijوَالْمُرْجِئَةُand the Murjidsفِيinمَعْنَىthe meaning ofالإِيمَانِfaithوَكُفْرٍand disbeliefمُخَالِفٌis contraryلِبَيَانِto the statement ofالرَّسُولِthe Messengerصَلَّىpeace be upon himوَسَلَّمَand blessings
What you say, the Khawarij and the Murjids about the meaning of faith and disbelief is contrary to the statement of the Messenger, peace be upon him.
أَهْلُThe peopleالْبِدَعِof innovationsأَعْرَضُواturned awayعَنْfromبَيَانِthe explanation ofالرَّسُولِthe Messengerوَبَنَوْاand builtدِينًاthe religionالإِسْلَامِof Islamعَلَىonمُقَدِّمَاتٍpremisesيَظُنُّونَthey thinkصِحَّتَهَاthat it is validفِيinدِلَالَةِthe indication ofالأَلْفَاظِthe wordsأَوْorالْمَعَانِيthe meaningsالْعَقْلِيَّةِof the intellect
The people of innovations turned away from the explanation of the Messenger and built the religion of Islam on premises they think are valid in the indication of the words or the meanings of the intellect.
عُمُدَةُThe main pointالْمُرْجِئَةُof the Murjidsفِيinأَنَّthatالإِيمَانَfaithهُوَisالتَّصْدِيقُthe affirmationوَالْجَوَابُand the responseعَنْهُto it
The main point of the Murjids is that faith is the affirmation and the response to it.
بَيَانٌClarificationأَنَّthatلَفْظَthe wordالإِيمَانَfaithلَيْسَis notمُرَادِفًاsynonymousلِلَّفْظِto the word::التَّصْدِيقِthe affirmation
Clarification that the word 'faith' is not synonymous with the word: 'the affirmation'.
أَكْثَرُMostالتَّنَازُعِof the disputeبَيْنَbetweenأَهْلِthe people ofالسُّنَّةِthe Sunnahفِيinمَسْأَلَةِthe issue ofالإِيمَانِfaithنِزَاعٌis a disputeلَفْظِيٌّverbal
Most of the dispute between the people of the Sunnah in the issue of faith is a verbal dispute.
هَلْIs thereفِيinاللُّغَةِthe languageأَسْمَاءٌnamesشَرْعِيَّةٌlegislativeنُقِلَتْthat has been transferredالشَّارِعُby the legislatorعَنْfromمُسَمَّاهَاits linguistic meaningفِيinاللُّغَةِthe languageأَوْorأَنَّهَاthat it isبَاقِيَةٌremainingفِيinالشَّرْعِthe Shariahعَلَىonمَاwhatكَانَتْit wasعَلَيْهِupon itفِيinاللُّغَةِthe languageلَكِنْbutالشَّارِعُthe legislatorزَادَaddedفِيinأَحْكَامِهَاits rulingsلَاnotفِيinمَعْنَىthe meaning ofالأَسْمَاءِthe names
Is there in the language names that are legislative, transferred by the legislator from their meanings in the language, or that they remain in the Shariah as they were in the language, but the legislator added in their rulings, not in the meaning of the names...?
مَنْWhoeverنَفَىdeniedعَنْهُabout himالرَّسُولَthe Messengerﷺ(peace be upon him)اسْمَthe nameالإِيمَانِof faithأَوْorالإِسْلَامَIslamفَلَاthen notبِدٌmustأَنْthatيَكُونَhe beتَرْكَleavingبَعْضِsomeالْوَاجِبَاتِof the obligationsوَأَكْثَرُand mostالصَّحَابَةِof the companionsوَالسَّلَفِand the Salafيَقُولُونَsayيَجْمَعُit can combineفِيinالْعَبْدِthe servantإِيمَانٌfaithوَنِفَاقٌand hypocrisy
Whoever denied about him the name of faith or Islam, then must be that he has left some of the obligations, and most of the companions and the Salaf say: Faith and hypocrisy can combine in the servant.
حُكْمٌThe rulingمَنْof whoeverتَرَكَleftالصَّلَاةَthe prayerمُتَعَمِّدًاintentionallyحَتَّىuntilذَهَبَthe timeوَقْتَof the timeالظُّهْرِof DhuhrإِلَىtoالْمَغْرِبِMaghribوَالْمَغْرِبِand the Maghribإِلَىtoنِصْفِhalfاللَّيْلِof the night
The ruling of whoever left the prayer intentionally until the time of Dhuhr went to Maghrib, and Maghrib until half the night.
أَسْمَاءُThe namesالْعُلَمَاءِof the scholarsالَّذِينَwhoقَالُواsaidالإِيمَانُfaithقَوْلٌis a statementوَعَمَلٌand actionوَيَزِيدُand increasesوَيُنْقِصُand decreases
The names of the scholars who said: Faith is a statement and an action, and it increases and decreases.
فَصْلٌSection::وَمِمَّاAnd among whatيُسْأَلُis asked aboutأَنَّهُthat itإِذَاifكَانَit wasمَاwhatأَوْجَبَهُmade obligatoryاللَّهُAllahمِنْofالْأَعْمَالِthe deedsالظَّاهِرَةِthe manifestهَذِهِtheseالْخَمْسُfive,,فَلِمَاذَاthen whyقَالَsaid::الإِسْلَامُIslamهُوَisالْخَمْسُthe fiveالظَّاهِرَةُmanifest
Section: And among what is asked about is that if what Allah made obligatory of the manifest deeds is these five, then why did He say: "Islam is the five manifest."
