آلَةٌmachineلأَنَّهُbecauseواحِدًاoneلَمْnotيُصْطَلِحْagreeمَعَwithغَيْرِهِ،others,وَقَدْandيَسْتَوُونَthey may become equalفِيْمَاin whatيَسْمُونَهُ،they call,وَكَذَٰلِكَand similarlyقَدْmayيَحْدُثُhappenلِلرَّجُلِto the manصِناعَةً،a craft,أوْorيُصَنِّفَclassifyكِتابًا،a book,أوْorيَبْنِيَbuildمَدِينَةًa cityوَنَحْوَ ذَلِكَ،and similar things,فَيُسَمِّيهِhe names itبِاسْمٍ،with a name,مِنْfromلَيْسَnotمِنَfromالأَجْنَاسِthe kindsالمَعْرُوفَةِknownحَتَّىuntilيَكُونَthere isلَهُfor itاسْمٌa nameفِيinاللُّغَةِthe languageالْعَامَّةِ،the general,وَقَدْandقَالَsaidاللَّهُGodتَعَالَىٰthe Exaltedالرَّحْمَـٰنُthe Compassionateعَلَّمَtaughtالْقُرْآنَthe Quranخَلَقَbehindالْإِنْسَانَthe humanعَلَّمَهُtaught himالْبَيَانَthe explanation(الرَّحْمَـٰنُ).(the Compassionate).
A machine is one that does not agree with others, and they may become equal in what they are called. Similarly, a man may craft something or classify a book or build a city, and so forth, and name it as such, from kinds that are not known until it has a name in the general language. God, the Exalted, said: "The Compassionate taught the Quran, He created man, taught him the explanation."
وَقَالُواAnd they saidأَنْطَقَنَاHe has made us speakاللَّهُGodالَّذِيwhoأَنْطَقَmade to speakكُلَّeverythingشَيْءٍthing
And they said, 'God, who made us speak, who has made everything speak.'
(فَصَلَتْ:(Fussilat:٢١).21).
(Fussilat: 21).
وَقَالَAnd saidالَّذِيthe one whoخَلَقَcreatedفَسَوَّىand fashionedاandالَّذِيthe one whoقَدَّرَdecreedفَهَدَىand guided
And He said, 'The one who created and fashioned, and the one who decreed and guided.'
(الأَعْلَىٰ).(the Most High).
(the Most High).
فَهُوَHe isسُبْحَانَهُGlorifiedيُلْهِمُinspiringالْإِنْسَانَmanالْمَنْطِقَ،the logic,كَمَاasيُلْهِمُinspiringغَيْرَهُothersوَهُوَAnd HeسُبْحَانَهُGlorifiedإِذَاifكَانَwasقَدْhadعَلَّمَtaughtآدَمَAdamالأَسْمَاءَthe namesكُلَّهَا،all of them,وَعَرَضَand presentedالْمُسَمَّيَّاتِthe entitiesعَلَىtoالْمَلَائِكَةِ،the angels,كَمَاasأَخْبَرَHe informedبِذَٰلِكَof thatفِيinكِتَابِهِ،His book,فَنَحْنُand weنَعْلَمُknowأَنَّهُthat heلَمْnotيَعْلِمْteachآدَمَAdamجَمِيعَallاللُّغَاتِthe languagesالَّتِيthatتَتَكَلَّمُspeakبِهَاwith themجَمِيعُallالنَّاسِpeopleإِلَىuntilيَوْمِthe Dayالْقِيَامَةِ،of Judgment,وَأَنْand thatتِلْكَthoseاللُّغَاتِthe languagesاتَّصَلَتْwere transmittedإِلَىtoأَوْلَادِهِhis childrenفَلَاso they do notيَتَكَلَّمُونَspeakإِلَّاexceptبِهَاwith itفَإِنَّforدَعْوَىthe claimهَذَاthisكَذِبٌis a falsehoodظَاهِرٌ،manifest,فَإِنَّforآدَمَAdamعَلَيْهِupon himالسَّلاَمُpeaceإِنَّمَاis onlyيُنْقَلُtransmittedعَنْهُfrom himبَنُوhis children,وَقَدْandأَغْرَقَdrownedاللَّهُGodعَامَyearالطُّوفَانِof the floodجَمِيعَallذُرِّيَّتِهِhis offspringإِلَّاexceptمِنْforفِيinالسَّفِينَةِthe arkوَأَهْلِand the familyالسَّفِينَةِof the arkاِنْقَطَعَتْcut offذُرِّيَّتُهُمْtheir progenyإِلَّاexceptأَوْلَادِthe childrenنُوحٍ،of Noah,وَلَمْand did notيَكُونُواthey becomeيَتَكَلَّمُونَspeakبِجَمِيعِwith allمَاwhatتَكَلَّمَتْhas spokenبِهِby itالأُمَمُthe nationsبَعْدَهُمْ.after them.
He, glorified, inspires man with logic, as He inspires others. He, glorified, if He had taught Adam all the names and presented the entities to the angels, as He informed in His book, then we know that He did not teach Adam all the languages that people speak until the Day of Judgment. And those languages were transmitted to his children, so they do not speak except with it. For the claim that this is a manifest falsehood. Adam, peace be upon him, is only transmitted from him by his children. God drowned all his descendants in the year of the flood except those who were in the ark, and the family of the ark their progeny was cut off except for the children of Noah.
فَإِنَّForاللُّغَةَthe languageالواحِدَةَoneكَالْفَارِسِيَّةِlike Persianوَالْعَرَبِيَّةِand Arabicوَالْرُّومِيَّةِand Romanوَالْتُّرْكِيَّةِand Turkishفِيهَاin itمِنَofالاخْتِلَافَاتِthe differencesوَالاَنْوَاعِand typesمَاwhatلَاnotيُحْصِيَهَاcountedإِلَّاexceptاللَّهُ،God,وَالْعَرَبُand the Arabsأَنْفُسُهُمْthemselvesلِكُلِّfor eachقَوْمٍgroupمِنْهُمْamong themلُغَاتٌlanguagesلَاnotيَفْهَمُهَاunderstoodغَيْرُهُمْ،by others,فَكَيْفَthen howيَتَصَوَّرُis it imaginedأَنْthatيُنْقَلَtransmittedهَذَاthisجَمِيعَهُall of itعَنْand fromأَوْلَئِكَthoseالَّذِينَwhoكَانُواwereفِيinالسَّفِينَةِ،the ark,وَأَوْلَئِكَand thoseجَمِيعُهُمْall of themلَمْnotيَكُنْhaveلَهُمْfor them,نَسْلٌ،offspring,وَإنَّمَاbutالنَّسْلُthe offspringلِنُوحٍof Noahوَجَمِيعُand allالنَّاسِpeopleمِنْfromأَوْلَادِهِ،his children,وَهُمْand theyثَلاثَةٌ:three:سَامٌSamوَحَامٌ،and Ham,وَيَافَثُand JaphethكَمَاasقَالَsaidاللَّهُGodتَعَالَىٰ:the Exalted:﴿وَجَعَلْنَا"And We madeذُرِّيَّتَهُhis descendantsهُوَhe isالْبَاقِينَ)the remnant."[الصَّافَّاتِ][As-Saffat]فَلَمْAnd He did notيَجْعَلْmakeبَاقيًاremainingإِلَّاexceptذُرِّيَّتَهُhis descendantsوَكَمَاand asرُوِيَreportedذَٰلِكَthatعَنْfromالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ:the Prophet ﷺ:«أَنَّ"Thatأَوْلَادَهُhis childrenثَلاثَةٌ».are three."رَوَاهُIt was narratedأَحْمَدُby Ahmadوَغَيْرِهُand others
For the one language, like Persian, Arabic, Roman, and Turkish, contains differences and types that only God can count. The Arabs themselves each have their own languages that are not understood by others. Then how is it imagined that all of this was transmitted from those who were in the Ark? And those all did not have offspring; rather, the offspring is for Noah, and all the people from his children are three: Sam, Ham, and Japheth, as God, the Exalted, said: ‘And We made his descendants the remnant.’ [As-Saffat] He did not make anything remaining except his offspring, and as it was reported from the Prophet ﷺ: ‘His children are three.’ It was narrated by Ahmad and others.
وَمَعْلُومٌAnd it is knownأَنّthatالثَّلاَثَةَthe threeلَاcannotيُمْكِنُthey canأَنْtoيَنْطِقُواspeakبِهَذَاwith all thisكُلِّهِ،all,(١)(1)قُلْتُ:I said:سَندُهُIts chainمُنْقَطِعٌ،is cut off,وَإِنand ifصَحَّحَهُit was authenticatedالْعِرَاقِيُّby Al-Iraqiوَالدَّهَـبِيُّand Al-Dhahabiتَبَعًاfollowingلِلْحَاكِمِ.to Al-Hakam.
And it is known that the three cannot speak with all this (1). I said: Its chain is cut off, and if authenticated by Al-Iraqi and Al-Dhahabi following Al-Hakam.
[[اِنظُرْlookمُسْنَدُto the Musnadالإِمَامِof the ImamأَحْمَدَAhmad٢٠٠٥٦20056عَنْfromسَمُرَةَ؛Samura;أَنَّthatرَسُولَthe Messengerاللَّهِ ﷺof God ﷺقَالَ:said:«سَامٌ‘Samأَبُوis the father ofالْعَرَبِ،the Arabs,وَيَافَثُand Japhethأَبُوis the father ofالرُّومِ،the Romans,وَحَامٌand Hamأَبُوis the father ofالحَبَشِ».the Abyssinians.’وَقَالَAnd saidرُوحٌRuhبِبَغْدَادَin Baghdadمِنْfromحِفْظِهِ:his memory:«وَلَدَ‘The childrenنُوحٍof Noahثَلاثَةٌ:are three:سَامٌSamوَحَامٌand Hamوَيَافَثٌand Japhethوَالْرَّقْمُand the number٢٠٠٤٢،20042,وَضَعِيفٌand weakسُنَنُthe Sunanالتِّرْمِذِيِّof Al-Tirmidhi٦٣٤634وand٦٣٥،635,وَضَعِيفٌand weakالْجَامِعُthe Al-Jami’الصَّغِيرَةِthe small.٣٢١٤].3214].
[Look at the Musnad of Imam Ahmad, 20056, from Samura; that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: ‘Sam is the father of the Arabs, and Japheth is the father of the Romans, and Ham is the father of the Abyssinians.’ And said Ruh in Baghdad from his memory: ‘The children of Noah are three: Sam, Ham, and Japheth.’ And the number is 20042, and it is weak in the Sunan of Al-Tirmidhi 634 and 635, and weak in Al-Jami’ As-Saghir 3214].
