Finally the men calmed down, and Wilson returned to his place, and soon the soldiers returned

were joking with each other as if they were old friends.
قَالَsaidوِيلْسُونَ:Wilson:أَكْرَهُI hateرُؤْيَةَseeingالْجُنُودِthe soldiersيَتَشَاجَرُونَfightingفِيمَاaboutبَيْنَهُمْ.among them.
Wilson said: 'I hate seeing the soldiers fighting among them.'

I thought that they all were killed, but they remained returning last night until it appeared that we did not lose except few.

The soldiers were standing in position attention on side of one of the roads waiting the order to advance, and suddenly Henry remembered the small package wrapped inside faded yellow envelope which Wilson gave to him from before.

Henry decided not to remind him of this day which Wilson gave him the envelope when he was afraid and upon certainty that he will meet his doom.

Henry was used to fear from Wilson because he quick anger, but now then occurred to mind Henry a plan new.

then will take out Henry the envelope small and remind him how he was frightened.

This speech is weapon in hand Henry he can use it to protect himself from ridicule the others.

In moment of weakness rare talked Wilson about death while he trembles and gave him the envelope which contains certainly on memory for his relatives.

Felt Henry now that he better in condition than his friend, rather he felt with grief for him.
