And some of them are armed with smooth or sharp needles, from which poison is emitted into the wound it causes. Rarely does this needle exist among a large group of other ants. If it is found, it is simple and trivial, and while it might spit poison to a specific distance, it only does so when the ant touches its enemy with the tip of its abdomen.
