ٱلْقُرْءَانُThe Quranحَقٌّis trueوَandأَنَّthatٱلرَّسُولُthe messengerحَقٌّis trueوَandأَنَّthatٱللَّهُGodيُنْجِزُfulfillsوَعْدَهُHis promiseلَاwithoutمُحَالَةٍfail.
The Quran is true, and the messenger is true, and God fulfills His promise without fail.
فَٱلتَّارِيخُSo historyتَفْصِيلٌis a detailed descriptionلِجُزْئِيَّاتِof the particularsمَاthat whichعَرَّفَنَاWe have been informedٱللَّهُby Godوَرَسُولِهِand His messengerبِهِabout itمِنْofٱلْأَسْبَابِthe causesٱلْكُلِّيَّةِthe generalلِلْخَيْرِfor goodوَٱلشَّرِّ.and evil.
So history is a detailed description of the particulars that we have been informed by God and His messenger about the general causes for good and evil.
فَصْلٌSection(c)(c)بِٱلتَّكَلُّمِwith reliance
Section (c) with reliance.
وَٱلْأَمْرُAnd the matterٱلثَّانِيthe secondأَنَّis toيَحْذَرَbewareمُغَالَطَةَof his own self-deceptionنَفْسِهُhimselfلَهُabout thisعَلَىregardingهَٰذِهِtheseٱلْأَسْبَابِ.causes.
And the second matter is to beware of his own self-deception regarding these causes.
وَهَذَاAnd thisمِنْis one ofأَهَمِّthe most importantٱلْأُمُورِ،matters,فَإِنَّfor surelyٱلْعَبْدَthe servantيَعْرِفُknowsأَنَّthatٱلْمَعْصِيَةَdisobedienceوَٱلْغَفْلَةَand neglectمِنْareٱلْأَسْبَابِthe causesٱلْمُضِرَّةَharmfulلَهُto himفِيinدُنْيَاهُhis worldوَءاخِرَتِهِ،and his hereafter,وَلَاand mustبِدٌّ؛not be;
And this is one of the most important matters, for surely the servant knows that disobedience and neglect are harmful causes to him in his world and his hereafter, and must not be;
