وَفِيAnd inالْمُسْنَدِthe Musnad(١)(1)
And in the Musnad (1) also from the hadith of Abu Dharr, it was said.
قَالَHe saidقَالَsaidرَسُولُ اللهِthe Messenger of Allahﷺﷺ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
إِنِّيIndeed Iأَرَىseeمَاwhatلَاnotتَرَوْنَyou seeوَأَسْمَعُand I hearمَا لَاwhat notتَسْمَعُونَyou hear.
Indeed I see what you do not see and I hear what you do not hear.
أَطَّتْThe heavens creakedالسَّمَاءُthe skyوَحُقَّand it is rightfulلَهَاfor itأَنْtoتَبِطَّholdمَاwhateverفِيهَاis in itمَوْضِعُa place ofأَرْبَعِfourأَصَابِعَfingersإِلَّاexceptوَعَلَيْهَاupon itمَلَكٌa kingسَاجِدٌprostrating.
The heavens creaked, and it is rightful for it to hold; there is no place in it the size of four fingers except that there is an angel prostrating on it.
لَوْIfتَعْلَمُونَyou would knowمَاwhatأَعْلَمُI knowلَضَحِكْتُمْyou would laughقَلِيلًاlittle,وَلَبَكَيْتُمْand you would cryكَثِيرًاmuch,وَمَاand you would notتَلَذَّذْتُمْenjoyبِالنِّسَاءِthe womenعَلَىonالْفُرُشِthe beds,وَلَخَرَجْتُمْand you would go outإِلَىtoالصُّعُدَاتِthe heightsتَجَأَرُونَcrying outإِلَىtoاللَّهِAllahعَزَّthe Mightyوَجَلَّand Exalted.
If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and you would cry much, and you would not enjoy women on the beds, and you would go out to the heights crying out to Allah the Mighty and Exalted.
قَالَAbu Dharr saidأَبُو ذَرٍّAbu Dharrوَاللَّهِby AllahلَوَدِدْتُI wishأَنْthatأَنَاIشَجَرَةٌa treeتُعْضَدُto be cut down!
Abu Dharr said: By Allah, I wish I were a tree to be cut down!
وَفِيAnd inالْمُسْنَدِthe Musnad(٥)(5)
And in the Musnad (5) also from the hadith of Hudhayfa, it was said.
قَالَHe saidكُنَّاWe wereمَعَwithرَسُولِ اللهِthe Messenger of Allahﷺﷺ
We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
(١)(1)١٣/٥13/5(٢١٥١٦)(21516).وَأَخْرَجَهُAnd it was narratedالتِّرْمِذِيُّby Al-Tirmidhi(۲۳۱۲)(2312)وَابْنُ مَاجَهَand Ibn Majah(٤١٩٠)(4190)وَالْحَاكِمُand Al-Hakim٥٥٤/٢554/2(۳۸۸۳)(3883)وَالْبَزَّارُand Al-Bazzar inفِيinمُسْنَدِهِhis Musnad(۳٩٢٤،(3924,۳٩٢٥)3925)وَغَيْرُهُمْand othersمِنْfromطَرِيقِthe path ofإِبْرَاهِيمَIbrahimبْنِbinمُهَاجِرٍMuhajirعَنْfromمُجَاهِدٍMujahidعَنْfromمَوْرِقٍMawriqعَنْfromأَبِيAbuذَرٍّDharrفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned it.
(1) 13/5 (21516). It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi (2312) and Ibn Majah (4190) and Al-Hakim (554/2) (3883) and Al-Bazzar in his Musnad (3924, 3925) and others, from the path of Ibrahim bin Muhajir from Mujahid from Mawriq from Abu Dharr, who mentioned it.
قَالَHe saidالتِّرْمِذِيُّAl-Tirmidhiحَسَنٌit is goodغَرِيبٌstrangeوَقَالَand saidالْحَاكِمُAl-Hakimهَذَاthisحَدِيثٌhadithصَحِيحٌis authenticالإِسْنَادُthe chain of narrationوَلَمand did notيُخْرِجَاهُnarrate it.
Al-Tirmidhi said: It is a good strange hadith, and Al-Hakim said: This hadith is authentic in its chain of narration, and they did not narrate it.
وَقَالَAnd saidالْبَزَّارُAl-Bazzarوَهَذَاand thisالْحَدِيثُhadithلَاnotنَعْلَمُwe knowيُرْوَىis narratedعَنْaboutأَبِيAbuذَرٍّDharrإِلَّاexceptمِنْfromهَذَاthisالْوَجْهِway,وَلَاnorنَعْلَمُwe knowلَهُfor himطَرِيقًاa pathغَيْرَotherهَذَاthan thisالطَّرِيقِpathوَلَاand notنَعْلَمُwe knowرَوَىwho narratedمُجَاهِدٌMujahidعَنْfromمَوْرِقٍMawriqعَنْaboutأَبِيAbuذَرٍّDharrإِلَّاexceptهَذَيْنِthese twoالْحَدِيثَيْنِhadiths,وَأَحْسَبُand I believeأَنَّthatهَذَاthisالْكَلَامُspeechالْأَخِيرُlastمِنْofقَوْلِthe utteranceأَبِيAbuذَرٍّDharrأَعْنِيI meanلَوَدِدْتُI wishأَنْthatأَنَاIشَجَرَةٌa treeتُعْضَدُto be cut down.
Al-Bazzar said: This hadith is not known to be narrated from Abu Dharr except by this way, and we do not know any other path than this one, and we do not know that Mujahid narrated from Mawriq from Abu Dharr except these two hadiths, and I believe that this last speech by Abu Dharr means: I wish I were a tree to be cut down.
قُلْتُI said:هَذَاThisسَندٌchain of narrationضَعِيفٌis weakمَوْرِقٌMawriqلَمْdid notيَسْمَعْhearمِنْfromأَبِيAbuذَرٍّDharrقَالَهُhe saidأَبُوAbuزَرْعَةٍZar’aوَالْدَّارَقُطْنِيُّand Al-Daraqutni.
I said: This chain of narration is weak; Mawriq did not hear from Abu Dharr, as Abu Zar’a and Al-Daraqutni said.
وَأَيْضًاAnd alsoإِبْرَاهِيمُIbrahimبْنُbinمُهَاجِرٍMuhajirفِيinهِhimضَعْفٌweaknessوَقَدْand hasتَفَرَّدَsingled outبِالْحَدِيثِwith the hadith.
And also, Ibrahim bin Muhajir has weakness in him and has singled out the hadith.
انْظُرْLookالمَراسيلِto the Murasilلِابْنِof Ibnأَبِي حَاتِمٍAbi Hatim(۸۱۷)(817)
Look at the Murasil of Ibn Abi Hatim (817) and the Illah of Al-Daraqutni (264/6).

(5)(5)٤٠٧/٥407/5(٢٣٤٥٧)(23457).وَأَخْرَجَهُAnd it was narratedتَمَامٌTamamفِيinفَوَائِدِهِhis benefitsالرَّوْضَthe meadowالْبَسَّامِAl-Bassam--٥١٨)518)وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّand Al-Bayhaqiفِيinإِثْبَاتِprovingعَذَابِpunishmentالْقَبْرِthe grave(۱۱۲)(112)وَابْنُ الجَوْزِيِّand Ibn Al-Jowziفِيinالْمَوْضُوعَاتِthe fabricated(٤٠٦/٢)(406/2)مِنْfromطَرِيقِthe path ofمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadبْنِbinجَابِرٍJabirعَنْfromعَمْرٍوAmrبْنِbinمُرَّةَMurrahعَنْfromأَبِيAbuالْبَخْتَرِيِّAl-BakhtariعَنْaboutحُذَيْفَةَHudhaifahفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned it.قَالَHe saidابْنُIbnالْجَوْزِيِّAl-Jowzi
(5) 407/5 (23457). It was narrated by Tamam in his benefits, Al-Bassam - (518) and Al-Bayhaqi in proving the punishment of the grave (112) and Ibn Al-Jowzi in the fabricated (406/2) from the path of Muhammad bin Jabir from Amr bin Murrah from Abu Al-Bakhtari from Hudhaifah who mentioned it.
قَالَHe saidابْنُIbnالْجَوْزِيِّAl-Jowzi
Ibn Al-Jowzi said:
