وَقَدْAndرُوِيَwas narratedالتِّرْمِذِيُّby Al-Tirmidhiفِيinجَامِعِهِhis جامع (collection)(۱)(1)عَنْfromعَائِشَةَAishaرَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللَّهُwith Allahعَنْهَاwith herقَالَتْsaid:
And Al-Tirmidhi narrated in his collection (1) from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said:
سَأَلْتُI askedرَسُولَthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allahعَنْaboutهَذِهِthisالْآيَةِverseفَقُلْتُso I said (2):أَهُمْAre theyالَّذِينَthose whoيَشْرَبُونَdrinkالْخَمْرَwineوَيَزْنُونَand commit adulteryوَيَسْرِقُونَand steal?فَقَالَHe said:لَاNoيَاOبِنْتَdaughterالصَّدِّيقِof Al-Siddiqوَلَكِنَّهُمْbut they areالَّذِينَthose whoيَصُومُونَfastوَيُصَلُّونَand pray (3)وَيَتَصَدَّقُونَand give charity,وَيَخَافُونَand fearأَنْthatلَاnotيُتَقَبَّلَbe acceptedمِنْهُمْfrom them.أُولَـٰئِكَThoseيُسَارِعُونَrushفِيinالْخَيْرَاتِgood deeds.
I asked the Messenger of Allah about this verse and I said (2): Are they those who drink wine, commit adultery, and steal? He said: No, O daughter of Al-Siddiq, but they are those who fast, pray (3), give charity, and fear that their deeds may not be accepted from them. Those are the ones who rush towards good deeds.
وَقَدْAndرُوِيَwas narratedمِنْfromحَدِيثِthe hadithأَبِيof AbuهُرَيْرَةَHurairaأَيْضًاalso(٤)(4).
And it was narrated from the hadith of Abu Huraira as well (4).
(۱)(1)بِرَقْمِNumber(۳۱۷٥)(3175).وَأَخْرَجَهُAnd narrated itابْنُIbnمَاجَهMajah(٤١٩٨)(4198)وَأَحْمَدُand Ahmad١٥٩/٦159/6(٢٥٢٦٣)(25263)وَالطَّبَرِيُّand Al-Tabari(٢٦/١٨)(26/18)وَالْحَاكِمُand Al-Hakim(٤٢٧/٢(427/2(٣٤٨٦), (3486)وَغَيْرُهُمْand othersمِنْfromطَرِيقِthe routeمَالِكِMalikبِنْbinمَغُولٍMughoolعَنْaboutعَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِAbdur-RahmanبِنbinسَعِيدٍSaeedبِنbinوَهَبٍWahbعَنْfromعَائِشَةَAishaفَذَكَرْتُهَاso I mentioned it.قَالَHe said:الْحَاكِمُAl-Hakim:هَذَاThisحَدِيثٌhadithصَحِيحٌis authenticفِيinالإِسْنَادِchain of narratorsوَلَمْand did notيُخْرِجَاهُnarrate it.
(1) Number (3175). And narrated it Ibn Majah (4198), Ahmad 159/6 (25263), Al-Tabari (26/18), and Al-Hakim (427/2 (3486) and others from the route of Malik bin Mughool about Abdur-Rahman bin Saeed bin Wahb about Aisha, so I mentioned it. Al-Hakim said: This hadith is authentic in chain of narrators but they did not narrate it.
قُلْتُI said:هَذَاThisالإِسْنَادُchainضَعِيفٌis weakلِلْإِرْسَالِdue to interruption,فَإِنَّforعَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِAbdur-RahmanبِنbinسَعِيدٍSaeedلَمْdid notيَلْقَmeetعَائِشَةَAishaرَضِيَmay Allah be pleasedاللَّهُwith Allahعَنْهَاwith herقَالَHe said:ابْنُIbnأَبِيof AbuحَاتِمٍHatim:سَأَلْتُI askedأَبِيmy fatherعَنْaboutعَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِAbdur-RahmanبِنbinسَعِيدٍSaeedبِنbinوَهَبٍWahbلَقِيَdid he meetعَائِشَةَ؟Aisha?قَالَHe said:لَاNo,هُوَhe isكُوفِيٌّKufi,أَبُوهُhis fatherمِنْis fromأَصْحَابِthe companions ofعَبْدِاللَّهِAbdullahبِنbinمَسْعُودٍMas'ood.انْظُرْLook atالْمُرَسَّلَاتِthe interrupted narrations(٤٥٦)(456).
I said: This chain is weak due to interruption, for Abdur-Rahman bin Saeed did not meet Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. Ibn Abu Hatim said: I asked my father about Abdur-Rahman bin Saeed bin Wahb, did he meet Aisha? He said: No, he is Kufi, his father is among the companions of Abdullah bin Mas'ood. Look at the interrupted narrations (456).
وَرَوَاهُAnd it was narratedلَيْثٌby LythبِنbinأَبِيAbuسُلَيْمٍSuleimوَاضْطَرَبَand he contradictedفِيin itكَثِيرًاa lot:فَمَرَّةًSometimesيَرْوِيهَاhe narrates itعَنْfromمُغِيثٍMugheethعَنْaboutرَجُلٍa manمِنْfromأَهْلِthe people ofمَكَّةَMakkahعَنْaboutعَائِشَةَAishaوَمَرَّةًAnd sometimesعَنْaboutعُمَرَةَOmrahعَنْfromعَائِشَةَAishaوَمَرَّةًAnd sometimesعَنْfromالْعَوَّامِAl-AwwamبِنbinحَوْشَبٍHushabعَنْaboutعَائِشَةَ.Aisha.وَمَرَّةًAnd sometimesعَنْfromرَجُلٍa manعَنْaboutعَائِشَةَ.Aisha.انْظُرْLook atتَفْسِيرِthe interpretation ofالطَّبَرِيِّAl-Tabari(٣٤/١٨)(34/18)وَالْوَسِيطِand the Mediumلِلْوَاحِدِيِّof Al-Wahidi(۳/ ۲۹۳)(3/293)وَأَبِيand AbuيَعْلَىYa'la(٤٩١٧)(4917).وَعَلَيْهِThus,لَاit is notيُثْبَتُestablishedسَنْدُهُhis chain of narratorsعَنْaboutعَائِشَةَ.Aisha.
And it was narrated by Lyth bin Abu Suleim and he contradicted a lot in it: sometimes he narrates it from Mugheeth from a man from the people of Makkah about Aisha, and sometimes about Omrah from Aisha, and sometimes from Al-Awwam bin Hushab about Aisha. And sometimes from a man about Aisha. Look at the interpretation of Al-Tabari (34/18), the Medium of Al-Wahidi (3/293), and Abu Ya'la (4917). Thus, his chain of narrators regarding Aisha is not established.
(٢)(2)فَقُلْتُSo I saidلَمْdid notيُرَدَّbe mentionedفِيinفُلَانَit.
(2) So I said that it was not mentioned in it.
(۳)(3)وَيُصَلُّونَAnd 'and they prayسَاقِطٌwas omittedمِنْfromل.it.
(3) and they pray was omitted from it.
(٤)(4)أَخْرَجَهُIt was narratedالطَّبَرِيُّby Al-Tabari(۳۳/١٨)(33/18)وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّand Al-Tabaraniفِيinالأَوْسَطِthe Middle(٣٩٦٥)(3965)!مِنْfromطَرِيقِthe routeالْحَكَمِof Al-HakamبِنbinبَشِيرٍBashirعَنْaboutعَمْرٍAmrبِنbinقَيْسٍQaisالْمَلَائِيِّAl-MalaiعَنْaboutعَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِAbdur-RahmanبِنbinسَعِيدٍSaeedبِنbinوَهَبٍWahbعَنْaboutأَبِيAbuحَازِمٍHazmعَنْfromأَبِيAbuهُرَيْرَةَHurairaقَالَتْsaid:عَائِشَةُAisha:يَاOرَسُولَMessengerاللَّهِof Allahوَالَّذِينَand those whoيُؤْتُونَgiveمَاwhatمَاتُواthey providedوَقُلُوبُهُمْand their heartsوَجِلَةٌare fearfulأَهُمْAre theyالَّذِينَthose whoيُخْطِئُونَsinوَيَعْمَلُونَand commitبِالْمَعَاصِي؟disobedience?فَقَالَHe said:إِلَّاNoيَاOعَائِشَةَAishaهُمْThey areالَّذِينَthose whoيُصَلُّونَprayوَيَتَصَدَّقُونَand give charityوَقُلُوبُهُمْand their heartsوَجِلَةٌare fearful.
(4) It was narrated by Al-Tabari (33/18) and Al-Tabarani in Al-Awsat (3965) from the route of Al-Hakam bin Bashir from Amr bin Qais Al-Malai about Abdur-Rahman bin Saeed bin Wahb about Abu Hazm about Abu Huraira, Aisha said: O Messenger of Allah, and those who give what they have provided and their hearts are fearful, are they those who sin and commit disobedience? He said: No, O Aisha, they are those who pray and give charity and their hearts are fearful.
قَالَHe said:الطَّبَرَانِيُّAl-Tabarani:لَمْdid notيَرْوِnarrateهَذَاthisالْحَدِيثَhadithعَنْfromعَمْرٍAmrبِنbinقَيْسٍQaisإِلَّاexceptالْحَكَمَHakamبِنbinبَشِيرٍBashir.
He said: Al-Tabarani said: This hadith was not narrated from Amr bin Qais except by Hakam bin Bashir.
قُلْتُI said:كَلَامُThe statementالطَّبَرَانِيِّof Al-Tabaraniيَدُلُّindicatesعَلَىuponتَفَرُّدَthe uniquenessالْحَكَمِof Hakamبِهَذَاin thisالْحَدِيثِhadith,وَهُوَand he isصَدُوقٌ،trustworthy,
I said: The statement of Al-Tabarani indicates the uniqueness of Hakam in this hadith, and he is trustworthy.
