وَاللَّيْثُand Al-Laythوَيَحْيَىand Yahyaابْنُson ofأَيُّوبَAyyubوَغَيْرَهُمْand others

And Al-Layth, Yahya bin Ayyub, and others.

قُلْتُI said::وَلِلْحَدِيثِAnd for the hadithرَوَايَاتٍthere are narrationsأُخْرَىother،,فَرَوَاهُit was narrated byفُضَالَةُFudalaابْنُson ofحُصَيْنٍHusaynعَنْfromأَيُّوبَAyyubعَنْfromنَافِعٍNafiبِهِwith it

I said: And for the hadith, there are other narrations, Fudala bin Husayn narrated it from Ayyub from Nafi.

لَكِنَّهَاBut itرِوَايَةٌis a narrationمُنْكَرَةٌthat is rejectedوَاهِيَةٌand weakلَاnotيُعْتَبَرُconsideredبِهَاtherein

But it is a rejected and weak narration, not considered therein.

قَالَHe saidالْبُخَارِيُّAl-Bukhariوَأَبُوand AbuحَاتِمٍHatim::مُضْطَرِبٌis inconsistentالْحَدِيثُthe hadith

Al-Bukhari and Abu Hatim said: The hadith is inconsistent.

وَقَالَAnd Ibn Adi saidبَعْدَafterأَنْthatذُكِرَhe mentionedلَهُto himحَدِيثًاa hadithمَاnothingعُرِضَwas presentedعَلَىtoرَسُولِthe Messengerاللَّهِof Allahpeace be upon himطَيِّبٌfineقَطُّeverفَرَدَّهُhe rejected it

And Ibn Adi said after he mentioned to him a hadith that was never presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he rejected it.

قَالَHe said::وَهَذَاAnd thisلَاdoes notيُرَوِّيهُnarrated byعَنْfromمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadابْنُson ofعَمْرٍوAmrفِيinالْعِطْرِthe perfumeغَيْرَother thanفُضَالَةَFudala،,وَكَانَand he wasعَطَّارًاa perfumer,,فَاتُّهِمَhe was accusedبِهَذَاof thisالْحَدِيثِhadithبِهَذَاwith thisالْإِسْنَادِchainخَاصَّةًspecificallyلِيُنْفِقَto spendالْعِطْرَthe perfume

He said: And this is not narrated by Muhammad bin Amr in the perfume other than Fudala, and he was a perfumer, and he was accused with this hadith specifically to spend the perfume.

وَقَالَAnd Al-Saji said::صَدُوقٌtruthfulفِيهِin himضَعْفٌweaknessوَعِندَهُand he hasمَنَاكِيرُaberrations

And Al-Saji said: He is truthful, but there is weakness in him and he has aberrations.

وَلِسَانُAnd LisanالْمِيزَانِAl-Mizan(6//٣٣٠330--٣٣١)331)

And Lisan Al-Mizan (6/330 - 331).

وَرَوَاهُAnd it was narrated byاللَّيْثُAl-Laythابْنُson ofأَبِيAbuسُلَيْمٍSuleimعَنْfromعَبْدِAbdul-Malikابْنِson ofأَبِيAbuسُلَيْمَانَSuleimanعَنْfromعَطَاءِAtaعَنْfromابْنِson ofعُمَرَUmarفَذَكَرَهُhe mentioned it

And it was narrated by Al-Layth bin Abi Suleim from Abdul-Malik bin Abi Suleiman from Ata from Ibn Umar, and he mentioned it.

أَخْرَجَهُIt was reported byالطَّبَرَانِيُّAl-Tabarani٤٣٣/١٣433/13(۱۳۵۸۵)(13585)

It was reported by Al-Tabarani 433/13 (13585).

وَالطَّبَرِيُّAnd Al-Tabariفِيinالتَّهْذِيبِthe Tahdhib(۱۸۰)(180)

And Al-Tabari in the Tahdhib (180).

قُلْتُI said::اللَّيْثُAl-Laythمُخْلَطٌis confused،,وَفِيand inحِفْظِهِhis memorizationضَعْفٌthere is weakness.. وَقَدْAnd he hasاضْطَرَبَbecome confusedفِيinهَذَاthisالْحَدِيثِhadith

I said: Al-Layth is confused, and in his memorization, there is weakness. And he has become confused in this hadith.

انْظُرْReferمُسْنَدَto the MusnadالرُّوَيْانِيِّAl-Ruyani(١٤٢٢)(1422)

Refer to the Musnad of Al-Ruyani (1422).

وَتَهْذِيبَAnd the Tahdhibالطَّبَرِيِّof Al-Tabari(۱۸۱)(181)

And the Tahdhib of Al-Tabari (181).

--وَالْوَهْمُAnd the mistakeفِيهِin itمِنfromجَرِيرٍJarir

And the mistake is in it from Jarir.

ـ-وَالْعُقُوبَاتُAnd the 'Aqabahلِابْنِof IbnأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاAl-Dunya(۳۱۷)(317)

And the 'Aqabah of Ibn Abi Dunya (317).

الْحَلِيَّةُAnd the Haliliyyahلِأَبِيof AbuنَعِيمٍNaeem(٣١٩/٣)(319/3)

And the Haliliyyah of Abu Naeem (319/3).

وَغَيْرَهَاand others

and others.

وَرَوَاهُAnd it was narrated byأَبُوAbuجُنَابٍJanabيَحْيَىYahyaابْنُson ofأَبِيAbiحَيَّةٍHayahالْكَلَبِيُّAl-KalbiعَنْfromشَهْرِShahrابْنِson ofحُوشَبٍHushabعَنْfromابْنِIbnعُمَرَUmarفَذَكَرَhe mentionedنَحْوَهُsomething similar

And it was narrated by Abu Janab Yahya bin Abi Hayah Al-Kalbi from Shahr bin Hushab from Ibn Umar, he mentioned something similar.

أَخْرَجَهُIt was reported byأَحْمَدُAhmad(٥٠٠٧)(5007)

It was reported by Ahmad (5007).

وَهَذَاAnd thisلَاdoes notيَصِحُّauthenticلِأَنَّbecauseأَبَاAbuجُنَابٍJanabضَعِيفٌis weakفِيinالْحِفْظِpreservation

And this is not authentic because Abu Janab is weak in preservation.

وَيُدَلِّسُand he is known to confuse،,وَهُنَاand hereلَمhe did notيُصَرِّحْstateبِالتَّحْدِيثِthat he is reporting

And he is known to confuse, and here he did not state that he is reporting.

وَأَيْضًاAnd alsoشَهْرٌShahrفِيinحِفْظِهِhis memorizationكَلَامٌthere is some mention،,وَلَاand notيُشْبِهُsimilarأَنْtoيَكُونَbeسَمِعَheardمِنfromابْنِIbnعُمَرَUmarلَأَنَّهُbecauseشَامِيٌّhe is from Al-Shamوَابْنُand IbnعُمَرَUmarمَدَنِيٌّis from Medinaوَمَاand nothingرُوِيَwas narratedأَنَّهُthat heقَالَsaidسَمِعْتُI heardابْنَIbnعُمَرَUmarعِندَatأَحْمَدَAhmadفَوُهِمَit was a mistake,,وَاللَّهُand Allahأَعْلَمُknows best

And also there is some mention about Shahr in his memorization, and it does not resemble that he could have heard from Ibn Umar because he is from Al-Sham while Ibn Umar is from Medina, and nothing that was narrated that he said: I heard Ibn Umar at Ahmad was a mistake, and Allah knows best.

فَذَكَرَهُHe mentioned it.. أَنْThatوَرَوَاهُAnd it was narrated byغَسَّانٌGhassanابْنُbinبَرْزِينٍBarzainحَدَّثَنِيhe told meرَاشِدٌRashidأَبُوAbuمُحَمَّدٍMuhammadالْحَمَّانِيُّAl-Hammaniقَالَhe saidقَالَsaidابْنُIbnعُمَرَUmar

He mentioned it. And it was narrated by Ghassan bin Barzain who told me Rashid Abu Muhammad Al-Hammani, he said: Ibn Umar said.

أَخْرَجَهُIt was reported byابْنُIbnأَبِيAbuالدُّنْيَاAl-Dunyaفِيinالْعُقُوبَاتِthe 'Aqabah(٢٤)(24)

It was reported by Ibn Abu Dunya in the 'Aqabah (24).

قُلْتُI said::فِيInسَنْدِهِits chainانْقِطَاعٌthere is a breakرَاشِدٌRashidيُبْعِدُis farيَكُونَthat he isسَمِعَcould have heardابْنَIbnعُمَرَUmarلَأَنَّهُbecauseبَصْرِيٌّhe is Basriوَابْنُand IbnعُمَرَUmarمَدَنِيٌّis from MedinaوَأَيْضًاAnd alsoجُلُّmostرَوَايَةٍnarrationsرَاشِدٍRashidعَنْfromالتَّابِعِينَthe followers

I said: In its chain, there is a break; Rashid is far that he could have heard Ibn Umar because he is Basri and Ibn Umar is from Medina. Also, most of Rashid's narrations are from the followers.

وَذَكَرَAnd Al-Bukhari mentionedأَنَّهُthat heرَأَىsawأَنَسًاAnasابْنَson ofمَالِكٍMalik

And Al-Bukhari mentioned that he saw Anas bin Malik.

انْظُرْReferتَهْذِيبَto the Tahdhibالكَمَالِof Al-Kamal(١٦/١٩)(16/19)

وَالْحَدِيثُAnd the hadithصَحَّحَهُwas authenticated byابْنُIbnالْقَطَّانِAl-Qattanفِيinبَيَانِthe explanationالْوَهْمِof the mistake(٢٩٥/٥(295/5--٢٩٦)296)

And the hadith was authenticated by Ibn Al-Qattan in the explanation of the mistake (295/5 - 296).

وُجُودُThere is the existence ofشَيْخْthe Sheikhالإِسْلَامِof Islam(۲۹(29(۳۰)(30)

There is the existence of the Sheikh of Islam (29 (30).

إِسْنَادِيMy chainأَحْمَدَof Ahmadوَأَبِيand AbuدَاوُدَDawoodوَحَسَّنَهُand it is goodالْمُؤَلِّفُthe author

My chain of Ahmad and Abu Dawood, and the author authenticated it.

وَقَالَAnd Ibn Abdul Hadi said::رِجَالُThe menإِسْنَادِهِof his chainرِجَالٌare menالصَّحِيحِof authenticity

And Ibn Abdul Hadi said: The men of his chain are men of authenticity.

وَقَالَAnd Ibn Hajar said::وَعِندِيAnd I believeأَنَّthatإِسْنَادَthe chainالْحَدِيثَof the hadith[[طَرِيقَthe wayالأَعْمَشِof Al-A'mash]]الَّذِيthatصَحَّحَهُwas authenticated byابْنُIbnالْقَطَّانِAl-Qattanمَعْلُولٌis faultyانْظُرْReferالتَّلْخِيصِto the Talhisالْحَبِيرِof Al-Habeer١١٤114

And Ibn Hajar said: And I believe that the chain of the hadith [the way of Al-A'mash] that was authenticated by Ibn Al-Qattan is faulty. Refer to the Talhis of Al-Habeer 114.
