لَمْnotيَكْتُبْwriteالنَّاسِخُthe copyistاسْمَهُhis nameوَلَاand notأَشَارَreferredإِلَىtoالأَصْلِthe originalالْمَنْقُولِtransmittedمِنْهُfrom it
The copyist did not write his name nor did he refer to the original from which it was copied.
غَيْرَhoweverأَنَّهُthat heأَثْبَتَconfirmedتَارِيخَthe dateالْفَرَاغِcompletionمِنْofكِتَابَةِwritingالنُّسْخَةِthe copyفِيinآخِرِهَاits end
However, he confirmed the date of the completion of writing the copy at its end.
وَهُوَAnd it isالسَّابِعُthe seventhمِنْofشَهْرِthe monthذِيofالْقَعْدَةِDhul-Qi'dahسُنَةِyear١١٩٥هـ1195 AH.
And it is the seventh of the month of Dhul-Qi'dah in the year 1195 AH.
وَلَعَلَّAnd perhapsالْوَرَقَةُthe first pageالأُولَىthe firstمِنْهَاof itضَاعَتْwas lostفَذَهَبَتْand wentمَعَهَاwith itعُنْوَانُthe titleالْكِتَابِof the book.
And perhaps the first page of it was lost, taking with it the title of the book.
وَقَدْAnd it hasقُوبِلَتْbeen comparedالنُّسْخَةُthe copyعَلَىtoالأَصْلِthe original.
And the copy has been compared to the original.
يَدُلُّThis indicatesعَلَىthatذَلِكَthatبَعْضَsomeالتَّصْحِيحَاتِof the correctionsوَقَيْدٌand a recordبَلَغَindicatingمُقَابَلَةًcomparisonفِيinبَعْضِsomeالْوَرَقَاتِof the sheets.
This indicates that some of the corrections and a record indicate comparison in some of the sheets.
هَذِهِThisالنُّسْخَةُcopyهِيَisالَّتِيthe one thatزَعَمَclaimedمُحَقِّقُthe investigatorطَبْعَةِof the editionدَارِDarابْنِIbnالْجَوْزِيِّal-Jawziأَنَّهُthat heاعْتَمَدَdependedعَلَيْهَاupon it.
This copy is the one that the investigator of the edition of Dar Ibn al-Jawzi claimed to have depended upon.
