The saying of the annihilation of fire is based on the testimony of his student, the scholar Ibn al-Qayyim, regarding what he narrated about him (1).

So this is appropriate for the establishment of the message's attribution to the Sheikh and for acquitting Sheikh Ibn al-Qayyim and others from the misconception, as I will clarify in what follows:

And in another place, he said: "As for the Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, if his most specialized students testify that he authored his famous work in this important issue, which Ibn al-Qayyim did not clarify in terms of negation or affirmation - then nothing has reached us from Ibn Taymiyyah's writings on this important and serious issue (2), and likewise what Ibn al-Wazir (3) and al-San'ani (4) mentioned. He said that the manuscript of the Islamic office that al-Albani mentioned in the introduction to the book 'Raising the veils' does not prove its attribution to the Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah" (5).

The third part: A group of scholars went to believe that the Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah tends to the view of the annihilation of the fire, and among those are Al-Safarini in 'The Illuminations of Light' (7) and Sheikh Siddiq Hasan Khan in his book 'Awakening of the Foremost from what came in the mention of the Fire and its people' (8). And Sheikh al-Alusi in 'Clarification of the Two Eyes in the trial of the two praised ones' (9).
